Previously in Pokemon Chaos and Order...

Ash and his friends arrive at the Driftveil City Gym.

After a hard and intense battle, Ash was able to defeat Clay, the Gym Leader, and receive his 5th Gym Badge.

Ash and his friends were sitting down on the Pokemon Center sitting area, just chatting. "The way Frogadier stopped Excadrill's Horn Drill with Ice Punch was incredible Ash!" Serena says in an excited tone.

"Thanks a lot Serena..." Ash said while scratching the back of his head. Pikachu meanwhile was enjoying some good old ketchup.

"But we can't forget that Serena also has a dream to achieve..." Dawn reminded the group. "Yep! And I think we should start heading to Mistralton City right away!" Ash says while raising his fist.

"You're right!" Nate said. "As well as a Gym, Serena's next Showcase will be held there!" Ash's eyes widened. "There's a Gym in Mistralton City?!" Ash blurted out. "I was only thinking about Serena's Showcase! Well in that case we GOTTA start moving!"

Serena blushed. 'Ash was willing to go to Mistralton City just because my next Showcase is there?' She thought. 'That's so sweet of him...' Dawn then began to giggle. "Hey Ash! I think Serena has a fever. Do you mind checking on her?" She said in a teasing manner, as if trying to contain her laughter.

Serena's whole face was red, but before Ash could react...

Ding. Ding. Ding Ding Ding...

"I thank you all for waiting..." the four heard a woman's voice. "Your Pokemon are all fully recovered and are feeling great!" Said the Driftveil City Nurse Joy with a smile.

Serena was the first one to get up, trying to hide her blushing. She rushed over to the counter. "Thanks Nurse Joy!" She said as she took her 5 Pokeballs.

Ash was taken aback from her sudden rush of energy, but decided to ignore it for now. He picked up Pikachu and went over to the Nurse, doing the same as Serena did. Nate and Dawn followed shortly.

Serena then quickly ran outside. "Alright everybody! COME ON OUT!" She exclaimed while throwing her five Pokeballs in the air, releasing her Eevee, Fennekin, Pancham, Piplup and Axew, who all let out their respective cries.

"Alright everybody!" She said while kneeling down to their eye-line. "Our next Performance's coming soon! SO LET'S TRAIN HARD!" She exclaimed while throwing her arm upwards, followed shortly by her Pokemon doing the same.

Shortly after, Ash, Nate and Dawn were sitting down on a bench. Pikachu was playing with Serena's Eevee and the rest of Serena's Pokemon were sitting down next to Ash and the others, while Serena was drawing something in the sand next to Fennekin and Pancham.

"Then Pancham, go under here and finish up..." she was explaining her plan to her Pokemon. "I think we should give it a try..." Fennekin and Pancham then nodded.

"Don't be nervous Serena!" Nate reminded his sister. "Yeah! You're gonna do great no matter what happens!" Dawn replied. "Show us how it's done!" Ash finished their little encouragement trio.

Serena took a deep breath before having a serious look on her face. "ALRIGHT PANCHAM! USE SKY UPPERCUT!" She commanded. One of Pancham's paws then began to glow white. Pancham then rushes at Fennekin with its paw close to the ground, moving sand around.

"NOW FENNEKIN! USE FLAMETHROWER!" Serena commanded once again. Fennekin then shot out a stream of red-yellow fire from its mouth towards Pancham. Before the Flamethrower could hit Pancham though, it uppercuted the Flamethrower, cutting it in half and creating a flaming spectacle.

Ash's, Dawn's and Nate's eyes were filled with sparkles. "That's so beautiful!" Dawn said. "You don't see this kinda stuff everyday..." Nate seconded Dawn's opinion. "YOU'RE DOING GREAT SERENA! KEEP IT UP!" Ash exclaimed while cupping his hands next to his mouth to increase his volume.

Serena was then dancing with both her Pokemon in complete unison. That is until Pancham took a look at its paw which was ON FIRE!

Pancham began to freak out. It began to wave its paw up and down, trying to put out the flames, while simultaneously running around the field they were in, trying to ease the pain.

"OH NO PANCHAM!" Serena cried out in worry while the others looked on in shock. Serena's Piplup then jumped out of the bench and fired a Hydro Pump at Pancham, hitting every square inch of its body except for the flaming paw.

After the Hydro Pump subsided, Pancham was looking down in annoyance, while slightly waving its paw, which caused the flame to be extinguished.

"Grr... PANCHAM! PANCHAM PAN PAN PANCHAM PAN!" Pancham growled at Piplup, what can only be described as Pokemon profanity, since Serena's Axew and Nate's Lucario tried to cover up Piplup's non-existent ear sockets.

"Are you okay Pancham...?" Serena walked over to Pancham but wasn't able to finish her sentence before Pancham began to do the same to Fennekin. Fennekin retaliated, causing the two to battle.

"Oh oh, that can't be good..." Ash murmured while standing up, his Frogadier doing the same. Fennekin fired a Flamethrower at Pancham, who fired a Dark Pulse to counter said Flamethrower.

"Hey you two! Stop fi..." Serena couldn't finish her sentence as both attacks hit her. "SERENA!" Ash, Nate and Dawn cried out in unison, along with their Pokemon.

Both of her Pokemon were horrified by what just happened. When the dust cleared, Serena just stood there, her body covered in ashes and a little bruised up, but other then that nothing major.

Serena's face however, was one of pure anger. "I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs, so loud that it scared of some Pidove that were just minding their own business.

Both Pokemon immediately stood up straight, either out of fear or out of not knowing what to do. "CAN YOU PLEASE TAKE IT SERIOUSLY!" She blurted out again, in a lower tone but still clearly angry.

"Okay now, take it easy..." Ash said, causing Serena to open her eyes and see what was going on. Ash, Nate, Dawn and all of their Pokemon were in front of her, trying to reassure her that everything was gonna be okay.

As soon as Serena saw the look on Fennekin's and Pancham's faces, she became devastated. "I think I need to go and take a little walk..." she said in a sad voice while looking down. "I wanna think things over alone, sorry..." her voice cracked after saying the last word as she began to run away.

"Hey! Wait!" Ash said while extending his arm towards her direction, but it was too late. All of her Pokemon tried to run after her, but they either didn't have the courage or they just couldn't handle seeing her like this.

"I don't know what to say now..." Dawn said in a hushed tone. Nate then took a look at Ash, whose eyes looked like they were about to be flooded. "I think we should just give her some time..." Nate said. "She had a little breakdown, so she might just need some time to think things over..."

Ash was about to say something about that, but figured that this is what Serena really needs. 'Just be okay Serena...' he thought.

Meanwhile with Serena...

Serena kept running while trying to hold back her tears. After a few minutes, she stopped to rest and to take a couple of deep breaths (both to relax and to catch her breath).

'What have I done...?' she thought to herself while clutching her chest and looking at a nearby window, trying her hardest not to cry.

Serena was too busy with her own thoughts to notice that two girls walked up to her. One of them had brown hair and green eyes. She was wearing a short-sleeved, pink shirt and really short jeans.

The other girl had red hair and red eyed. She was wearing glasses, a white outfit and hat.

"To be totally honest, I think THIS one suits you much better..." the red-haired girl said while glancing at the window Serena was looking in, which turned out to be a window of a clothing shop.

"I agree!" The other girl replied. Serena giggled nervously. "I wasn't thinking about which dress to buy..." she said. "I was thinking about... something else..." she lowered her head.

"Hey don't look so sad!" The brown-haired one said. "If you keep that look up, your poor face will wind up staying that way!" The red-haired one replied with a joking tone while winking at Serena.

Serena didn't understand that it was a joke and she began to feel her face, causing the two girls to giggle. "Always keep smiling!" The two said together, causing Serena to giggle now, though it was a nervous one.

After Serena's embarrassment washed away the brown-haired girl snapped her fingers. "Now I know why you look so familiar!" She said. "You're the winner of the Nimbasa City Showcase!"

Serena giggled nervously again before she feels her hand being grabbed by the girl, who started to shake it. "I'm Shauna Dawson! And this is Ar... Iana... Ariana Lee! We're Performers too!" The girl seemed to pause before saying Ariana's name, almost like she had forgotten it.

"Nice to meet you Shauna..." Serena said before looking down. "But I don't think I deserve to be a Performer anymore. With the way I treated my Pokemon this morning..."

Shauna and Ariana look puzzled. "Other then my Eevee you two saw in the Nimbasa Showcase, I also have other Pokemon. The two I was planning on using for my next Showcase were Fennekin and Pancham..." she explained.

"The two don't really have matching personalities so I figured it'll be fun to let the two have fun together... but when we were practicing our routine earlier today, they didn't get along and I yelled at them..."

Shauna and Ariana look at Serena in shock as she collapses on her knees. "Now I'm worried they won't want to Perform with me.. " she said, finally letting her tears out.

Ariana had no words to say, probably fearing that she'll make the situation worse. Shauna on the other hand, knelt down next to Serena. "They're your Pokemon right?" She asked, already knowing the answer. "If they're your Pokemon, they really care about you... and they'll love anything you do!"

Ariana finally steps in. "The only thing you have to do is apologize!" She said while winking. The two helped Serena get up. "Now how about we all go shopping?" Ariana asked with a happy tone. "I think that's something we can all get behind!" Shauna replied.

Serena wiped off her tears and nodded, causing the three to head on and shop.

Back with Ash, Nate and Dawn...

"ALRIGHT CHARMELEON! USE DRAGON RAGE!" Nate commanded his Charmeleon. Charmeleon's eyes flashed red before it opened its mouth and formed a purple fireball in front of it.  Charmeleon then blasts the fireball at its opponent, which in this case is Nate's Chesnaught.

"SPIKY SHIELD GO!" Nate commanded. Chesnaught quickly formed a Spiky Shield in front of it, protecting itself from Charmeleon's attack. "Perfect timing Chesnaught! And great job with that Dragon Rage Charmeleon!" Nate congratulated his Pokemon before returning them to their Pokeballs.

Dawn was taking care of Serena's other Pokemon but Ash... Ash was just pacing back and forth with Fennekin and Pancham, clearly worried about Serena.

"Hey can you please stop pacing so fast? It's making me dizzy..." Dawn asked in an annoyed yet polite tone. "I would if I could..." Ash answered. "But I'm REALLY worried..."

"That's so sweet of you Ash..." Ash and the others turn around to see Serena has finally returned. A huge smile instantly forms on Ash's face, before him, Fennekin and Pancham head over to her. Ash sighs. "It's good to see you're okay Serena..."

Serena gives a weak smile and nods, before kneeling down to her Pokemon's eye-level. Ash chuckled. "They've been feeling really bad about what they did. And they've also been worried sick..."

"Don't feel bad! I messed up! I'm sorry..." Serena replied with a cracked voice, before Fennekin and Pancham jumping up and giving her a big hug, which she happily returns. Eevee, Piplup and Axew quickly join.

Ash and the others smiled. "So I see you made up..." Shauna said, surprising everyone except for Serena. "You've got such a good connection!" Ariana replied.

"Excuse me!" Dawn raises her hand. "Who are you two?" She asks. "Oh! These are Shauna and Ariana! They helped me realise what Performing is really all about..." Serena answers before kneeling down to her Pokemon again.

"Always make everyone happy!" Serena and her Pokemon got another group hug. Dawn cleared her throat. "Well my name is Dawn..." she said while nudging Ash and Nate. "Sorry, I'm Nate. I'm Serena's brother..." "And I'm Ash!" The two introduced themselves.

"Serena. I have an idea!" Shauna said. "How about we have a Tag Battle! Me and Ariana vs. You and..." Shauna starts to think about the partner Serena'll be battling with, eventually settling with Ash. "You!" She said while pointing at a confused Ash.

"A Tag Battle...?" Serena asks quietly. "It would be a ton of fun! Plus you can learn a lot about Performing!" Ariana tries to convince Serena.

Serena was thinking about the subject before feeling Ash's hand on her shoulder. "Sounds like a great idea to me!" He said. "You think so?" Serena asks surprised. "Now that you've made up, show her what a great Team you and your Pokemon can be!" He reassured her.

Serena looked bewildered for a moment. "I think you're right!" She eventually replied. "I'll give it a shot!"

Later on the Battlefield...

Ash and Serena were standing on one side of the Battlefield while Shauna and Ariana were standing on the other. Dawn decided to act as Referee, so she got to the Referee stand.

"The Tag Battle between Ash and Serena, and Shauna and Ariana is about to begin!" She exclaimed. "Each Trainer will have the use of a single Pokemon, no substitutions are allowed!"

Shauna and Ariana simultaneously grabbed their Pokeballs. "BULBASAUR AND DELPHOX! LET'S GO!" The two said in unison while hurling their Pokeballs forward, releasing their Pokemon.

Shauna's was a small, quadruped Pokemon that has blue-green skin with darker green patches. It has red eyes with white pupils and scleras. It also has pointed, ear-like structures on top of its head. Its snout is short and blunt, and it has a wide mouth. A pair of small, pointed teeth are visible in the upper jaw when its mouth is open. Each of its thick legs ends with three sharp claws. On its back is a green plant bulb.

Ariana's was a relatively tall bipedal Pokemon resembling a fox. It is covered in a coat of fur that resembles a robe; this "robe" is primarily dark red, with red-orange, flame-like markings near its knees, as well as a thin tuft of white fur on its torso, flanked by yellow fur draping down from its shoulders. It has three tufts of red-orange fur protruding out of each ear. Its forearms feature long red fur resembling sleeves, and its hands and feet are dark gray with three clawed fingers and toes, respectively. A tail covered in yellow fur protrudes from its "robe".

Both Pokemon let out their cries. 'A Grass and Fire-type combo...' Ash thought to himself. "KAY! FROGADIER, I CHOOSE YOU!" Ash exclaimed while hurling his Pokeball forward, releasing his Frogadier.

'I'm assuming Delphox is Fennekin's final Evolved form...' Serena though to herself before looking at Fennekin. "Fennekin, do you want to Battle?" She asked with a happy tone. "FENN EKIN!" Fennekin happily barked before hopping over to the Battlefield.

"ALRIGHT! LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!" Dawn exclaimed, allowing the Battle to officially begin. "ALRIGHT FENNEKIN! USE SCRATCH!" Serena commanded. Fennekin then charged at Delphox and scratches it with one of its front paws, leaving a white trail of energy behind it.

"Nice shot!" Ash congratulated Serena, causing her to slightly blush. "Kay! Now it's our turn! Frogadier! Use Ice Punch!" He commanded. Frogadier jumped high in the air and charged up its Ice Punch attack, ready to punch Bulbasaur.

"VINE WHIP!" Shauna commanded. Two dark green and brown vines, covered in leaves come out of the sides of Bulbasaur's bulb. The vines then extend and wrap around Frogadier's fist, before slamming Frogadier into the ground.

Ash, Serena and Fennekin gasped, before Frogadier got up. "You're worries aren't over yet!" Shauna exclaimed. "USE REFLECT!" She commanded.

Bulbasaur launches white orbs from its bulb that surround and rotate around its and Dlephox's bodies, as they glow whitish blue and then a multi-colored see-through glass wall outlines their bodies. "Fennekin! Use Scratch again! This time on Bulbasaur!" Serena commanded, causing Fennekin to rush towards Bulbasaur.

However, before it could scratch it, Fennekin bounced of Bulbasaur's body. Ash turns to look at a worried Serena. "Serena, you're not going to get anywhere by battling like that!" He said, catching her attention.

"I know you and Eevee go way back, but if you wanna be the best, you gotta trust your other Pokemon just as much as you do with Eevee!" He told her. Serena looked over at Fennekin, who looked back at her before nodding.

"ALRIGHT FENNEKIN! FLAMETHROWER!" She commanded. "DELPHOX! FLAMETHROWER TOO!" Ariana counter-commanded. The two Pokemon launched streams of fire at each other, eventually Delphox' overpowering Fennekin's, causing a direct hit.

"FENNEKIN!" Serena cried out in worry. "NOW SOLAR BEAM!" Shauna commanded. Bulbasaur fired its Solar Beam attack at Fennekin, but at the last second, Frogadier jumped in the way and blocked Fennekin from the blast.

"FROGADIER!" Ash cried in worry. Fennekin recovered and then looked just as worried as Ash. After the Solar Beam subsided and Frogadier collapsed, barely able to Battle, Fennekin jumped in front of it and began to glow.

When the glow subsided, a different Pokemon stood instead of Fennekin. It was a bipedal, fox-like Pokemon. While the majority of its fur is yellow, it has black legs, white arms, face and neck, and a dark orange tail tip. The fur on its cheeks is longer, and a small mane of white fur covers its shoulders and chest. Long, wavy tufts of dark orange fur grow out of its large ears, and its eyes and small nose match this fur in color. Above its legs, the fur sweeps out to either side. When its mouth is open, two pointed teeth can be seen on its upper jaw. Braixen always keeps a stick in its tail, which it sets alight using its bushy tail fur.

"BRAI XEN!" It let out its cry, baffling everyone who was present. "F... Fennekin...?" Serena asked, worried that her partner's Evolution would make it not recognize her. However when Braixen turned to look at Serena, the look in its eyes told Serena everything she needed.

"Congrats Serena!" Ash, Shauna and Ariana congratulated Serena. Ash and Serena look at each other and nod. "Kay, let's wrap this up Frogadier!" Ash exclaimed, causing Frogadier to nod. "USE WATER PLEDGE!" He commanded.

Frogadier slams its hand on the ground, causing pillars of water to rush towards Delphox and Bulbasaur. "BRAIXEN! USE SCRATCH!" Serena commanded. However, instead of Scratch, Braixen slams its hand on the ground, causing pillars of fire to rush towards its opponents. The pillars of fire and water surround Delphox and Bulbasaur before merging into one pillar of both fire and water as a rainbow appears overhead.

"Cool! Braixen just learned Fire Pledge, Serena!" Ash exclaims, causing Serena to smile. When the pillar disappeared, Delphox and Bulbasaur were knocked out cold. "DELPHOX AND BULBASAUR ARE UNABLE TO BATTLE! FROGADIER AND DELPHOX WIN!" Dawn exclaimed.

Our heroes say to Shauna and Ariana goodbye before the two go away. Frogadier congratulates Braixen on a job well done, causing the two to blush. Ash then looks at Serena. "Kay! Next stop... MISTRALTON CITY!" He exclaimed.

Alright, next chapter's gonna be based on an Anime episode that I don't really like, but I think fits in well with the whole Amour aspect of my story (which is kind of the whole point). Anyways next chapter's summary:

Our heroes make their way at Route 6, on their way to Mistralton City, sight of Ash's 6th Unova Gym Battle Challenge as well as Serena's second Showcase.

Before reaching Chargestone Cave, they meet up with Red, Gary, Leaf and James again, but they don't look like themselves.

Meowth warns the group that they're under some wacky Pokemon's spell and said wacky Pokemon and its Trainer, kidnap Pikachu and Serena.

Will our heroes be able to rescue Serena? What Pokemon has put a spell under our heroes' friends? What's the identity of its Trainer and what do they want with our heroes?
