Previously in Pokemon Chaos and Order...

Ash challenges the Nimbasa City Gym Leader, Elesa, to a Pokemon battle. After some clutch moments, Ash is able to defeat her and win his 4th Unova Gym Badge.

Afterwards Elesa tells him, Serena and Nate about a monthly competition that will be taking place the next day, and they decide to participate in it.

After a hard battle against Elesa, our heroes decide to call it a day early, and they headed over to the room they rented at the Nimbasa City Pokemon Center.

Nate was the last one to get there, because he needed to take care of the "paperwork". Once he arrived there, he saw Ash and Serena sitting in on the floor with their Pokemon. They were just talking to chat.

"Hey guys!" Nate said as he entered the room, startling the two. Nate giggled. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you..." he said while scratching the back of his head. Serena sighed. "It's okay..." she said. "If you want, you can join the conversation..."

Nate smiled and sat down next to the two. "So... do you guys have any idea of what are you going to do in the talent show tomorrow?" He asked. Ash began to pat Pikachu's tail (which it seemed to enjoy very much)

"Well I have!" Ash said. "I'm gonna show the whole world my talent to create combo moves!" Nate and Serena smiled. "So what are you going to do Nate?" Serena asked her brother. Nate grabs three Pokeballs. "It's a surprise..." he said in a teasing tone.

"Oh c'mon!" Ash whined. "It's not like somebody's listening! You can tell us!" Nate then chuckled and shook his head. Ash crossed his arms. "You're acting like a kid Ash..." Nate teased as Serena giggled playfully.

Ash sighed in defeat before turning to look at Serena. "What are you going to do Serena?" Serena's smile instantly vanished once Ash asked the question. "I... have..." she began to answer before she sighed. "I have no idea..."

Ash immediately felt bad for mentioning it. "Sorry Serena..." he said. Serena shook her head. "It's okay Ash..." she said. "I would've had to worry about this sooner or later..." "Well... I'm sure you'll think of something!" Ash reassured her. Serena smiled back.

Nate stretched his arm upwards, trying to relax his muscles. "Well guys... I think it's time to call it a day, what'd'ya say?" He asked. Ash and Serena both nodded. The three headed over to the bedroom part of the room.

The room had two beds and a couch. Nate decided to take the couch while Ash and Serena took the two beds. It was only around 8 PM, but the three had a long day so they quickly fell asleep.

Ash opened his eyes and found himself floating in a dark place. It seemed like it was extending forever and ever with barely any color. The only colors being black and purple, with red clouds everywhere.

"What...?" Ash said, his voice echoing loudly. "Where am I...? What's going on...? Pikachu? Serena? Nate?" Ash was about to say something else, but was stopped once he heard evil cackling.

"WHO ARE YOU?!" Ash yelled, his voice echoing once more, causing him to cover his ears from the extreme difference of sound intensity, as his voice sounded like booming thunder compared to the unbearable silence of the place.

The evil cackling resumed. "Show yourself!" Ash demanded, a little lower this time. Ash then felt a powerful gust of wind, causing his entire body to turn around.

Standing in front of Ash was a what looked to be a Pokemon which resembled a jellyfish. It is mostly white and has tentacles shaped like the hair, dress, and legs of a human girl. The top of its head is a bell that resembles a sun hat. The bell is transparent save for six pointed stars around the crown, and the brim has a blue edge. The ends of the "hair" fly out, resembling arms, and the outer tentacles of the "dress" have two bubbles inside.

(You can see that I was inspired by 'Alolan Danger')

Ash had no words. He didn't know what this was, but he still felt terrified. "Wha... what are you...?" Ash asked shaking. The creature just stood there in complete silence.

Ash tried to turn around and run away, but it felt like he was on a treadmill, no matter how fast he ran, he couldn't move. He then heard a woman's voice.

"Serena..." the woman whispered eerily. "She is the key..." Ash could barely understand what the woman whispered. He didn't care though, what he cared about was the creature eerily hovering towards him, like a Ghost-type Pokemon.

Ash then saw a source of light. It was light blue and gold, and shaped like an orb. It seemed to be just beyond his reach though. Ash just felt the creature getting closer to him, so he freaked out.

He was about to give up on everything, but then he heard a voice called out his name. "ASH!" The voice sounded familiar to Ash, and hearing that voice gave him more confidence.

He jumped as far as he could, trying his hardest to grab the orb, with the creature just millimeters from him. Using all his willpower and determination, Ash grabbed the orb, causing a bright flash of white to engulf everything around Ash, blinding him.

"Ash... are you okay...?" Ash heard the same voice from before. He opened his eyes and saw Serena sitting down next to him. Her sapphire-blue eyes reminded Ash of something. Ash never saw Serena like he just did.

He stood up and held his head. "I think I had a nightmare..." he said in a tired voice. Serena frowned. "Oh you poor thing..." she said in a calming voice. Ash blushed but chuckled to that.

Nate then opened the bathroom door. "Are you guys getting ready?" He asked. Then Ash had a confused look on his face, before remembering that the talent show was today.

Ash practically flew out of bed, waking up the sleeping Pikachu that was next to him. He rushed to the bathroom and quickly changing out of his pajamas. Ash got out of the bathroom, allowing Serena to change herself.

Just like you'd expect from someone like Serena, it took her some time to change. Ash was anxious about the Talent Show so to him it felt like forever, even though in reality it took her about 5 minutes.

As soon as Serena got out of the bathroom, Ash grabbed her wrist lightly and ran with her out of the room, both of them blushing.

Nate stayed in the room for a few more seconds, smiling to himself, before taking a woozy Pikachu in his arms and walking out of the room.

After the three arrive at the place Elesa told them the show would take place, they quickly registered and got the schedule for the show.

"Well well well..." they heard a girls voice coming from behind them. "Look who's here!" A second female voice said. The three turned around to see Miette and Ellie. Ash's stomach tied up into a knot as soon as he saw Ellie, and Nate felt the same.

Serena was also feeling a bit uncomfortable, but with Miette, because every time she saw Miette, she was with Trip. "H... hi..." Serena stuttered while looking at Miette. She took a deep breath before whispering to her. "Is Trip here with you...?"

Miette flashed her a playful smile before shaking her head. This relaxed Serena, allowing her to properly greet the two. Serena was overjoyed to see Ellie again, that she didn't notice Miette giving her a death stare.

Nate however did notice, and he glared back at Miette, who had her eyes on Ash now, who didn't notice because of his stress about Ellie. Everybody stopped what they were doing as soon as they heard a man's voice, in a Kalosian accent speak through the speakers.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!" He said. "WELCOME TO UNOVA'S GOT TALENT! WE WILL BEGIN THE SHOW SHORTLY! As you all know, if you registered, you can participate! So talented performers, get to your sits, s'il vous plaît..."

Nate checked his schedule, and saw that he was the first one up. Nate waved the group goodbye, before walking where one of the baristas told him to go.

Ash, Serena and the two other girls went to the audience stand, when Monsieur Pierre arrived at the stage.

"Dear performers and audience... Bonjour... I am thrilled to officially welcome you to Unova's Got Talent!" He said. "Where we allow everyone to show their talents! I will be one of the judges. Alongside with the shining beauty that is Elesa, the current Kalos Queen, Aria. And the CEO of the Pokemon Fashion and Battle Administration... PALERMO!"

A spotlight then shines on the judge stand, showing the three other judges. Other then Elesa, there is a pink-haired girl wearing a dress and a grey-haired older woman wearing a business suit.

"And now, let me introduce you to our first performer for the day... NATE YVONNE!" Pierre then jumped over to the audience stand before Nate showed up at the stage in a circular platform.

He was wearing a white kimono with a green belt. On his right hand was an object that resembled a medieval sword, but on closer inspection it is actually his Honedge. The crowd and the judges gasped.

Nate walked up to the microphone. "Is this thing working?" He asked while giving it a tap, causing loud feedback. After a few seconds of recovery time, Nate spoke up. "I'm pretty sure you guys are worried about my well being because I'm holding a Honedge..."

Nate then winked at Honedge, causing it to unwrap its cloth from Nate's arm and floating next to it. "But as you can see, Honedge and I are very close friends..." Nate grabbed onto Honedge's hilt once more.

He then grabbed two Pokeballs. "ALRIGHT! LET'S GO QUILLADIN AND TYRUNT!" He threw them up in the air, releasing his Quilladin and Tyrunt.

Nate walked up to the microphone once more. "My special talent is martial arts!" He said before walking backwards. "QUILLADIN! USE NEEDLE ARM!" A light green orb of energy with four spikes on it forms around both of Quilladin's arms.

Quilladin then charges at Nate, ready to attack. The crowd gasped again, thinking that Nate is a goner, Ash and Serena cupped their hands on their mouths. But before Quilladin could hit Nate, he slashed Quilladin's Needle Arm with Honedge.

"NOW TYRUNT! ROCK TOMB!" Tyrunt then raised its head and roared, its eyes glowing white. Then, a dozen heavy boulders outlined in white, came out of the ground and surrounded Tyrunt in the shape of a ring. The boulders were then hurled towards Nate.

Nate then closed his eyes and dodged the boulders. "QUILLADIN! BRICK BREAK!" He commanded. One of Quilladin's forearms becomes surrounded in white sparks and it tries karate-chops Nate from above.

Nate then countered Quilladin's Brick Break by karate-choping it from below. "NOW LET'S WRAP THIS UP!" He exclaimed. "ROCK TOMB AND SEED BOMB!" Tyrunt then hurled more boulders at Nate while Quilladin shot a bunch of yellow seeds surrounded by a green and purple aura.

Once the moves collided they created a huge cloud of dust around Nate, causing the crowd to gasp once again. But before anybody could say anything, Nate back flipped out of the cloud of smoke before doing the first pose of the YMCA.

Nate gave a bow. "That's all folks..." he said. There were a few seconds of silence but suddenly the crowd erupts into cheers. Nate was a bit surprised but thanked the audience before walking back to the back.

"THAT WAS AWESOME!" Ash screamed out with sparkles in his eyes. Serena giggled. "Yep... he's something alright..." they heard a female voice from their left. Ash and Serena looked to their left, only to see a bluenette girl.

"DAWN?!" Serena yelled. "Nice to see you again Serena!" Dawn replied. The two then high-fived each other.

Ash was a bit confused, but his thoughts were interrupted by Nate rushing back to the audience stand. "HEY ASH..." he said out of breath. "THEY'RE CALLING FOR YOU!" Ash nodded and started to rush out of the audience, giving Serena one last glance.

"Hey... where did Miette and Ellie go?" Nate asked, causing the girls to look over to their right, to see Miette and Ellie gone. Dawn shrugged it off (not knowing who either are), and turned over to look at Serena with a teasing grin on her face.

"So Serena, I noticed that that Ash boy was wearing the clothes you bought..." she said in a teasing tone. "Is he your boyfriend?" To that Serena blushed. "B... b... b... boyfriend...?!" She stuttered.

The tension in the air was broken by Ash appearing at the stage with Pikachu by his side. "FROGADIER! I CHOOSE YOU!" Ash exclaimed while hurling his Pokeball high in the air, releasing his Frogadier.

Ash walked over to the microphone. "My name's Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town!" He said. "I wanna become a Pokemon Master! To do that, I'm gonna have to win the Unova League! And to do THAT, I'm gonna have to improvise a lot!"

Ash looked over to his Pokemon. "Let's do this guys..." he whispered. "USE COUNTER SHIELD!" Ash commands. Pikachu and Frogadier then dropped onto the ground and began to use Thunderbolt and Bubble as they breakdance, creating two tornados, one of electricity and one of water.

The crowd, except for Nate and Serena, gasped. Before they could recover from the shock, Ash gave his second command. "THUNDER-PULSE!" Pikachu then stopped and blasted an electric blast at Frogadier.

Frogadier then shot a Water Pulse at the Thunderbolt, creating an electrified ball of water. Pikachu then shot Iron Tail on the Thunder-Pulse slamming it towards the ground, creating an electric to surround the stage.

"NOW LET'S WRAP THIS UP! VOLT ACE!" He commanded. Pikachu then jumped up onto Frogadier's head, as Frogadier became outlined in white. Pikachu and Frogadier then became surrounded by a golden aura of electricity.

Frogadier then jumped high in the air, with Pikachu still in its head, before slamming its feet towards the ground, creating another electric blast to surround the stage.

"ALRIGHT! THAT'S ALL FOR NOW!" Ash exclaimed, causing the crowd to erupt into a thunderous applause. Ash then walks out of the stage and starts to head towards the audience stand.

After some time, a lot of Trainers showed their talents. Ellie showed her skills as a poet, Dawn showed her skills as a Pokemon Coordinator, Miette showed her skills as a cook and many more.

"Well... this has been a magnifique talent show today!" Pierre exclaimed, taking center stage. "But now it is time for the final performer of the day! But first, I would like to say a few words. If I may..." Serena was watching his mini-speech from backstage and is getting more and more nervous by the second.

"Hello Serena..." a voice suddenly snaps her out of her nervous thoughts. She turned to look at the source of the voice, and saw it was Miette. She smiled, but before she could say anything, Miette spoke.

"I'm warning you Serena!" She said. "You try to give Ash the wrong impression and I'll make you run back to your mommy!" Serena couldn't believe her ears. She didn't want to believe that Miette was threatening her.

She was about to comeback, but Miette released one of her Pokemon. It was a Watchog. Serena instantly recognized the Watchog, and she jumped backwards, terrified.

Miette grinned. "Good... now listen VERY carefully!" She said. "You are going to give a bad performance there, and when you lose, you'll tell Ash you hate him and that you never wanna see him again!"

Miette walked away while grinning. 'I'm going to win!' She thought. 'And then Ash'll be mine!' Serena just stood there, stunned. She was at the verge of tears.

"NOW LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO THE FINAL PERFORMER... SERENA YVONNE!" Pierre exclaimed at the microphone, causing Serena to hesitantly walk towards the stage, wearing the dress she wore in Pokestar Studios.

She stuttered as she walked towards the microphone. "I... I... I... today I... I'm going to... sing a song..." she nearly dropped the microphone as she was shaking so much.

Ash raised an eyebrow, not understanding why Serena was acting so weird. 'What's going on with her...?' He thought, before Miette sat next to him, and gave him a flirtatious look, which Ash just ignored.

Serena's voice broke a bunch of times, making the audience speak with themselves (not willing to boo her). Serena was shaking so much, until she looked at Ash. 'C'mon Serena...' he thought. 'I know you can do it!'

Serena looked into Ash's eyes. Just like how she helped him earlier, just making eye contact with Ash gave her enough courage to shake off Miette's threat. 'I won't let someone take control of my life again dang it!' She thought.

She stopped shaking as she stood tall. Then with a confident face, she began to sing.

Everybody at the audience was stunned by Serena's singing. They all seemed to be mesmerized by her voice. Ash in particular was amazed by this. Not only did she remember the song he sang, but she memorized it and sang it like a heavenly choir.

Ash began to smile, as tears of joy fell down his face, all the while blushing. Once Serena finished the song, she gave a twirl and a bow, saying nothing. The audience were still mesmerized by her signing so it took them a few seconds to start clapping.

Once they did however, they clapped like no tomorrow and began to cheer Serena's name. Serena began to cry tears of joy as she gave another bow. Pierre told all the contestants to go up on stage.

Once they did, Pierre spoke up. "After all these wonderful performances, I am pretty sure the judges have gotten a unanimous vote..." the three other judges nodded. "Great! So the winner is..." Pierre the pointed his staff at someone, causing a spotlight to shine on them.

"SERENA!" Pierre exclaimed as his Klefkei twirled around Serena, who was crying tears of joy. Pierre then gave her a medal that said "UNOVA'S MOST TALENTED PERSON". Ash put a hand on Serena's shoulder. "You were great Serena!" He said, causing her to hug him.

Miette was raging over the fact that Serena didn't listen to her, so she was about to do something to her. "I wouldn't do that if I were you..." Nate said in a monotone voice with a smirk on his face. This scared Miette off and caused her to back away.

"I forgot to mention something very important..." Pierre said. "THIS WEEK IS PERFORMING WEEK IN THE UNOVA REGION! Be sure to stay in Nimbasa City for a week of Performing related activities!"

Hey guys! Infinityalbi10 here! And well... I guess you can guess what inspired me to write this chapter...

And just to clarify, I am not THAT good at Karate! I'm good at it (don't wanna brag or seem like a narcissist), but I have literally no clue how to operate a sword, dodge attacks with my eyes closed or do backflips.

Why am I even telling this to you? It's not like you assumed I was that good at Karate! Eh, whatever...

Our heroes decided to stay at Nimbasa City for "Performing Week", and Elesa informs them about an annual festival that revolves around love. Be it the bond you share with your Pokemon or with another person it doesn't matter.

Dawn decided to stay with the group for the week, and decided to make a gift for her Pokemon. Ash and Serena go out on their own to think about what present to give to their Pokemon. Both Ash and Serena my consider this a... Date!

Will Ash and Serena go on an actual date? What kind of present will our heroes give their Pokemon?
