You nervously inspect the building infront of you. It did look peaceful, but would it be okay to work here? You enter with your messenger bag full of your tools you need as a Pokemon researcher. When you are inside you see a man with another woman both walking and smiling with a Garchomp. The man spots you and makes his way over to you "Welcome, I assume you're here to start your Pokémon journey!" You blush while tucking a strand of hair behind your ear, "Actually, I'm here to work along side both of you." They stare at you surprised "Don't tell me you're the researcher Professor Oak recommended!? Why, you're so young." You smile and shake their hand "My name is (Y/N)." "I'm Professor Sycamore and this is m-" Garchomp interrupts by hugging you and you immidiatetly perk up and hug him back happily, it's always nice to share some Pokélove. You hear the professor laugh "you beat me to it Garchomp." You blush letting go.

Then he hugs you "it's marvelous to get to work alongside you from now on." You hug him giggling as his assistant shakes her head, smirking. In her eyes she could tell that by the Professor's reaction; you guys were bound to be something more than just friends.

A few months later you try to sneak out of the lab, Sophie's voice makes you freeze in place. "Going somewhere (Y/N)." You look at the long coat covering your dress then look up at her "J-just the library haha." "...really. Cuz we have a library here, and I doubt you get all dolled up to go read." You panic and she smirks "why don't you just tell me the truth." Before you can answer Professor Sycamore comes looking for you "Jeez Sophie, I have a date with my girlfriend, stop harassing her." Sophie's eyes sparkle as your mouth drops, Prof. And you decided to keep your relationship low but it seems he just blurted it out. "I knew it! Cosette! It's official!" She says running off to find the other assistant.

Sycamore smiles intertwining both your hands "Shall we go (Y/N)?" He says with a cute innocent smile that makes your stomach flip. You nod blushing and head out with him.
