"Hey brat, where's my old man?" You glare at Gary stopping from writing on your clipboard. "Go find out yourself" He huffs irritatedly as you smile inwardly. You were a Pokemon researcher, you were Gary's age (let's make em' 15). You started working here when you were about 13, the professor was highly impressed in your knowledge of Pokemon and gladly invited you to work alongside him, much to Gary's displeasure. In his eyes you thought he saw you as a hindrance getting in the way of him and his grandfather, he constantly liked to bad mouth you but you always ended up making him the one turn out annoyed and defeated.

"Hey, hey, I'm right here, no need to start you two." "It's her." Gary says and you just roll your eyes and continue to research about a special Gengar that Ash brought in. You didn't want to end up in a discussion with Gary, as much as you two acted like you both annoyed each other, on the inside you really love Gary; he's just too thickheaded to notice.

"Hey Guys!!!" Ash came in with Brock and Misty, making you smile. "You guys are back." You smile at each one of them making Brock blush swooning over you, making Misty end up knocking him out. You giggle adjusting your glasses as you head over to Ash taking his arm to drag him somewhere else to talk about the Gengar. The others went to have tea with Prof. Oak...except for Gary.

The sight of you and Ash walking somewhere else, together and alone made him infuriated. He "hmphed" and followed you guys out back to the Poké Garden. From the distance he saw you guys talking and saw Ash gleam happily and suddenly hug you. He made his way over pulling you two apart and taking you by the arm. "Gary!? What the hell!?" Ash was left behind confused out of his mind. After a while of walking in silence you take your arm abruptly causing Gary to look at you with angry eyes. "Gary what's up with you?" "Look, don't go out with Ash he's-" he starts ranting, probably making up bad excuses why not to date him. You shut him up by pulling his necklace and kissing him. He circled his arms around your waist enjoying the kiss. You pull away "Ash only hugged me because I agreed to research another Pokemon for him!" He mouths a 'ohhhh' making you look at him amused. "And besides, I love you so..." He puts his arm around your shoulders bringing you closer to his side as you walk to the others. "Thank god, I love you too! Sorry for being such a dick." You shake your head as you both smile heading back to your friends.
