Michael sighed as he turned the corner into even more familiar woods. It seemed no matter where he turned, he couldn't get anywhere in this stupid forest. Gah, it was so frustrating, even more so than trying to figure out Ritchie's tattoos had been.

He smiled sadly as he remembered his best friend for a moment before he focused back on the problem at hand. The demigod had literally been wandering in the woods for hours now and, at this point, even Flora just wanted to get out of these gods forsaken woods.

He had just to another dead end when he heard it. A giggle. He looked around in confusion only to find nothing. Sighing, he turned to go back only to be met face to face with a little girl with blue eyes.

"Uh hello?" He said in confusion making the little girl giggle before asking. "Are you lost, dear traveler?"

She sounded older than she looked but Michael decided to ignore the fact as he replied. "Unfortunately, I am. Flora and I have been trying to make our way out of the woods for hours now."

"I'm surprised that you even dared come into these woods." The little girl giggled, making Michael go tense as he asked. "What do you mean by that?"

"Most people know not to come here without good reason as the guardian of the forest, my mother, resides here." The little girl explained with a giggle.

"Guardian of the forest- your mothe- what?" Michael was confused as heck. Was this guardian of the forest one of this world's gods? And if so, did that make this little girl a demigod?

"Allow me to introduce myself!" She spun around before saying cheerfully. "My name is Kit! Daughter of Celebi! You're pretty brave coming in here when my mother is known for residing in this forest."

"Look, Kit was it? I literally woke up in this forest yesterday. I have no idea why I spawned here and not somewhere safer as I didn't exactly have a choice in the matter. Bravery had nothing to do with it." Michael decided to just be blunt about it but that just caused the girl to look at him funny as she said. "Silly human! No one just spawns out here, especially not humans, that would be silly. You'd have to get out here somehow."

"... Dear gods, it feels like I'm talking to Austin." He muttered under his breath as he said. "Let me put it more simply, I woke up here after talking to Girat-"

She gasped interrupting him as she got right into his face. Her eyes seemed to glow for a moment before she gasped once more. 

"Giratina brought you here after death? That's amazing! I've never heard of that happening! Then again, I've also never heard of gods like Athena so you're just full of surprises." She said and his eyes widened. "How the heck did you know all that? I never mentioned my heritage or that I died!"

"You see my mother while being the guardian of the forest, is also what is known as the goddess of time travel. While I'm not able to travel through time as she can, I am able to view people's pasts and sometimes their futures." Kit explained patiently.

For a moment, Michael was surprised, then that surprise turned into irritation. That was basically the equivalent of mind-reading! He felt anger well up inside him but it quickly faded as he looked back down into the innocent orbs of the little girl. For some reason, he couldn't help but be reminded of-

He shook his head and focused back on the conversation at hand. 

"Anyway, you're very interesting you know that?" She had a mischievous look on her face which couldn't bode well for him. He was proved right when she suddenly declared. "I'm gonna keep you!"

"HUH?" The son of Athena could only stare at the little girl in shock even as she let out a laugh. "Hold up, I'm not an object that you can just keep at your fancy-"

"Oh, I know that!" She interrupted even as she got right up in his face. "I mean, Imma come with you wherever you're heading."

"... Why?" He could feel a headache coming on even as Kit bounced in front of him. She acted so much like Austin, it wasn't even funny.

"Cause here I only got pokemon to play with, and if I come with you, I can get an exciting adventure." She told him with a grin. 

"How do you know that it's going to be an 'exciting' adventure?" He raised an eyebrow at her. 

"As I said, I can view both a person's past and a little bit of their future, and let me tell ya, yours is gonna be very interesting!" She told him, still grinning all the while. 

Michael felt a little unsettled by that. Couldn't he just have a normal life for once? By the look on Kit's face, the answer was no. 

"And why should I let you come with me?" He finally asked, raising an eyebrow at her. 

"Welllllllll maybe because I am more information on this world than you do?" She bought up a good point... "And maybe because I can get you out of here and you can avoid my mom?"

He had to admit, those were two solid points right there. 

"Fine." He had to cover his ears at the squeal that came out of Kit's mouth when he said that. Then, before he even knew it, she was grabbing his hand and dragging him behind her, laughing all the way. 

'... What did he just get himself into?' Was his only thought.
