Link's PoV

We all ran out of the building to see a few weird people snatching weird creatures.

 "Hey, what do you think you're doing?!" Goh yelled out

The 2 figures just smirked and threw off their disguises.

"Prepare for trouble"

"And make it double"

*yawn*

"To protect the world from devastation!"

Are they going to stop?

"To unite all people within our nation"

I wonder if they have any cake here?

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"

 I'm hungry

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

need to keep my eyes open...

"Jessie!"

"James!"

Wow names I will forget in 24 hours

"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!"

your motto is surely not doing that

"Meowth, that's right"

what kind of name is Meowth?!

"I figured it was you!" Goh exclaimed

then why did they have to do the motto

"It's always us!" Jessie remarked

"by the way where's the main twerp?"  James asked

twerp?

"None of your business!" Cerise said

I watched as Goh grabbed a ball from his belt... wait it looks like the statue! 

"Go Cinderance!" Goh threw his ball and a creature come out with a blue light

Excuse me WTF

While I was distracted Team Rocket called down a machine and grabbed their own balls from there. 

I watched as Jessie and James threw their own balls. I walked to the corner and sat down.

"uh... Link what are you doing?" Cerise asked 

I ignored him and watched as Goh fought against Team Rocket. 

Goh's PoV

at the corner of my eye, I saw Link... sit down? what's he doing sitting at a time like this?

"Cinderance use ember!" 

"Wingull use water gun!" Jessie yelled out to her pokemon

the attacks collided and made steam

"Cinderance use quick attack!"

"Lotad use water gun!"

it hit. Cinderance flew back by the impact of the attack. it was, after all, weak to water.  I turned my attention to Link who was... sleeping!!! 

"Hey, wake up!" I called to him

I abruptly woke up and jumped in an alert. he looked at me and gave me a sleepy expression and frowned. 

"Can you atleast help!" I said he just nodded and picked up... a pipe!

Link PoV

I admit it I was sleeping while on duty. I woke up to Goh's voice telling me to help him. I gave him my grumpy face but decided to help. I looked around for a weapon. I picked up a pipe.

 Yup this should do it

I ran towards the machine and hit it but was deflected.

it's like its made of  metal 

"Yeah the thing about metal is it hard" Cerise called out

I sent him a glare and looked back at the machine. 

Everyone has a weakness you just have to exploit it... yes, even machines

I noticed a control panel on the back.  I remember every guardian has one all ya have to pull that stuff out. I ran behind it and swung at the panel but was knocked away. I saw the little sword in the corner of my eye. I caught myself and motioned to Goh.

"Yeah?"

I pointed at the creatures. I made a breaking motion with my hands.

"Right! We should get them out first! But how? They have surveillance with all sides!" Goh's exclaimed

I picked up the pipe and made a throwing motion with it aiming at the Glass. Cinderance is fighting the other creatures by himself. it was pushing its limits. Its attacks are getting sloppy. 

"Got it!" 

Goh grabbed another ball and threw it out.

"Go, Scizor!"

"Use bullet punch!" 

Once I saw an opening I hurled the pipe to the glass and shattered. all the creatures were set free and stood tall at Team Rocket. 

"Um... Jessie, I don't like the way they're looking at us"

"Forget that, wingull use air slash!" Jessie yelled

All the creatures all started to charge up a beam and before the wingull could hit one they released it. There was a huge explosion and I heard "We're blasting off again!"

I fell back into the charred grass 

whew what a day
