Link's PoV

Today I and Zelda are going on a little hiking trip. We're trying to find some materials to rebuild the castle. It's not looking so good when you go inside. Zelda decided we should go through this newly discovered forest to the south. It doesn't have a name yet, but maybe Zelda can make one up.

We set up camp near a river. looks like a good place to go fishing. I stopped paying attention to Zelda's rant about newly found relics and ancient technology. she was way smarter than me at that stuff. All I know how to do is chop monster heads off their bodies which is good, I think? 

"Hey, Link! are you even listening to me!" Zelda said while pouting

oh crap! quick Link! act natural! I thought while nodding

"oh yeah? what is the main component of a guardian" Zelda said

The eye I signed

Zelda looked at me like I was a different person.

"What! how did you know that!" She said shockingly

I simply smirked.

learned it while battling I thought smugly

"Whatever I'm hungry" Zelda whined

Then it hit me. We forgot to get food.

stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid,  stupid! I thought

suddenly Zelda said, "you forgot to get some didn't you?"

I slowly nodded and got up.

you wait here I'll get some food I signed

she nodded

I went out to pick some ripe fruits and veggies.  when suddenly I stumbled across a statue. it was a ball red on the top and white at the bottom. It was divided by a black line and a button in the middle. curiosity took over and so I pushed the button. A red light hit me and sucked me in.

I was now in some weird-looking room. I looked forward only to be greeted by a person. he had round ears, Amburn eyes, and black raven hair. he was smiling at me so I smiled back and he faded away. then I heard a voice.
