Go, Pichu!

It was a nice day out in Kalos. Serena and Bonnie decided it would be a waste not to go out and enjoy the weather while it lasted, and by his little sister's pushing, Clemont set aside his inventions for a day. Ash, on the other hand...

He scratched the back of his head, an habit he had when embarrassed. "I'm sorry, Serena. But I have to train Pikachu. We haven't for a while now," he explained regretfully.

"What? Seriously!" Bonnie exclaimed. "We're ALL going as a team! We're getting ice cream!" she demanded.

"Now, now, Bonnie. Calm down…" Clemont told her, feeling slightly annoyed at his little sister's dramatic behavior.

"And you're coming, too, Ash Ketchum一" Bonnie continued, pretending she didn't hear him.

"Pikapi Pikachu! (Ash's all mine, I guess!)" An Electric-type Pokémon showed off his lightning-shaped tail as he ran around. Serena glanced at him weird.

"Pika... Pikachu Pikapi… (Well... maybe not all of him...)" He sweat-dropped nervously just as Hana happened passed by. His tall ears perked up and he immediately went after her happily.

Soon, the two Pokémon started running around like the old times.

Ash chuckled as he rolled his eyes. "You could take Sylveon instead of me, you know if she stays, there'll be a lot of distractions."

Serena giggled, covering her mouth. "What do you say, Sylveon?"

Hana stopped to glance back at her trainer, she looked back at Pikachu who gave her a warm smile before making the decision. "Sylve! (Okay!)"

She turned back to him. "Should I take Ribbon with me?" she suggested to Pikachu.

"If Ash wants no distractions, of course." He shrugged with a grin, eyes on the little Pichu, who was playing with some of Sylveon's performance outfits. Hana giggled before prancing towards her.

"Good news, dear…" Her sweet, gentle voice rang through Ribbon's ears. She peeked her head inside the jewelry chest curiously.

"We're going to the city!" Ribbon's head came out with a pearl necklace around it. Hana pulled out a bow that looked like hers and fixed into her daughter's left ear with her muzzle.

"Do you like it?" she inquired, seeing how the Pichu's face brightened with joy.

Ribbon let out a high-pitched laugh. "It's just like yours!"

The Sylveon smiled sincerely to herself when she noticed Ribbon finally wasn't stuttering. Hana always had confidence issues as an Eevee, and it affected her speech.

Of course, Pikachu helped, a lot. Except when he was being really cute and anyone would have stuttered nervously in her place when talking to him.

Ribbon laughed again. "Look at this one, Mama!" She put on a dark and twirly mustache below her nose.

"Oh, no! You look really suspicious!" Hana played along, acting distressed. "What did you do to my Ribbon?"

"Argh! I'm not Ribbon! I'm a dangerous Pokémon…! Come at me, if you dare, Mama…!" Ribbon feigned a lower tone of voice and put on the most menacing face she could.

So cute! "Well, try to come at me!" Sylveon dared her, in a battle stance.

"GRRR!"

"Noooo…!"

"Whatever this move is, it's too powerful against Fairy-types!" Sylveon cried, back facing the ground and arm raising in despair after Ribbon had leapt at her.

Pichu just sat over her stomach, staring down at her contently.

"Sylveon?" Serena questioned, seeing the state they were in, but decided to just wave it off. "C'mon, you rascals! We have to go!" she chirped, grinning at them.

"La dee dee! La dee doo!" Bonnie sang merrily as she hopped through the Lumiose street, the honey-blonde performer holding her hand from behind to make sure she didn't get lost in her frenzy.

She gasped before pointing at an incoming building with sparkling eyes. "Look look! Big brother, Serena! There's the ice cream shop! Let's let's let's一"

"Whoa, Bonnie! You're super excited today!" The girl behind her sweat-dropped, glancing at Clemont. "Let's go in then!"

Clemont nodded, a small smile in his lips as he followed them into the shop. He was happily holding baby Pichu, which made him feel quite protective; even though Sylveon was just a foot away.

But as soon as they entered the shop, he was surprised when he spotted his friend.

"Korrina?!" he exclaimed. He immediately set Ribbon down and her mother came next to her, seeming a bit confused.

"Clemont!" The girl swished her long ponytail. "Fancy meeting you here? Are your friends with you?"

Clemont twiddled with his glasses, nervous. "Um, yeah. We came for ice cream, and you?"

Korrina laughed boisterously. "Well, what  other reason could there be?"

Clemont allowed himself to laugh along, hope brimming through his eyes.

Korrina grinned at him, friendly. "I catched a Pokémon yesterday, and I'm pretty proud of myself. Wanna battle later? I can go by the Pokémon Center!"

Clemont pushed back his glasses; the light deflected off them. "That'd be great. What kind of Pokémon did you catch?"

Meanwhile, Sylveon was contemplating the sweets from the clear crystal that showed all the different kinds of iced desserts, Ribbon was in awe next to her, mouth watering.

Especially when she saw special-edition, ketchup-flavored ice cream.

"Ew! Ketchup ice cream?!" a young child said from their side, clearly repulsed. "Who thought that was a good idea?!"

It was the first time Ribbon felt so offended. "Pi Pichu! (Ketchup should be on everything!)" she stated firmly, though of course, the trainer didn't understand her at all.

"What a cute Pichu!" He smiled, a pink tint making its way to his cheeks. He tried petting her but she almost chomped his finger whole with anger.

"Ah…! Mommy!" He slowly walked away, crying for his mother. "Baby Pokémon are scary…!"

After the boy left, she saw another little Pokémon below her. He looked VERY familiar.

"Mama, that Pokémon looks a lot like一" Ribbon tried to say to her mom, but soon noticed her mother on the other side of the place, accompanying Clemont and another blonde girl.

They all looked very busy. "Hmm…" She scratched the back of her head nervously.

Her mother left her side, but she didn't notice until now... was she finally turning into less of a scaredy cat? Her thoughts were interrupted by a voice, right below her.

"Are you gonna talk or do I have to do it first?" a grumpy male Pichu threatened with a glare.

Ribbon's eyes turned white with shock: it was talking to her. She finally mustered enough courage to speak, her cheeks flushed. "W-who are y-you?"

The strange Pichu's brown eyes glinted. "I'm you but stronger." He grinned, satisfied.

"What?"
