I went to Slateport because I apparently have to deliver the Devon Parts to Captain Stern. I terrorized some Wingulls on the beach and defeated all the trainers in a cabin, and got six Soda Pops as a reward.

I went to the Pokémon Fan Club and got a soothe bell which is kinda useless since none of my Pokémon evolve from friendship, but I gave it to Hitoka anyway because I think she deserves happiness :)

I got to Route 110 and encountered an Electrike. I used Ziggy to lower its HP since my other Pokémon were overleveled, but she was KO'd by a Spark........

R.I.P Ziggy. I never really used you for anything besides Cut but you were still an asset to the team.

I named the Electrike Harry and he took Ziggy's spot on the team. I went to Stern's Shipyard and apparently he was in a museum which was being raided by pirates. So of course, everything somehow being my problem, I went to go find him, and also got the TM Thief and taught it to half my team.

After that, I got interviewed by some guy in the museum.

Lmao

Then some guys freaked out over some girl named Lisia and her Altaria

I entered a contest and got second place. Lisia gave me a lum berry and some girl wearing a red apron gave me a Pikachu that I will never use because I have an Electrike.

It was pretty tempting because the Pikachu was 7 levels higher, and had a Lightning Rod ability, but I really want a Manectric because they have much better HP and wider movesets. Also, I've been using Pikachu for almost every game I've played and I wanted to try a new electric type.

I went to route 103 and put Harry in front so he would get extra exp. After battling these twins, Arlo evolved into Swellow!

Also, Qwerti learned mud bomb, which was really good since the next gym was electric type.

I encountered a Gulpin and named her McKenzie.

Then, the dreaded May battle happened.........
