"I can't believe I'm doing this..." Eric muttered as he walked through the tall grass near the exit of littleroot. "At least the professor let me pick an actual Hoenn starter Pokemon"
He looked down at the Pokeball in his hand "I got myself a Chespin and a Treeko"

After a few minutes of walking, Eric finally entered Oldale town. "Now to find Steven "
He suddenly felt something bang into him.
"Woops, sorry about that"A girl said. "Mum...!" A second voice said. It sounded like a Pokemon but the girl was blocking his view.
"I know, I know. look where I'm going...I'll pay attention next time sweetie " she said.

The mysterious girl turned to Eric "i'd love to stay and chat but I'm in a hurry..." She said before running off "sorry~!"
Eric stood there in a state of shock and confusing.
"D-did that just happen..?" he asked.
Chespin nodded "ches..."

After an hour of searching Eric finally bumps into Steven.
"Oh! Eric, I didn't see you there" he gave Eric a small smile "Im glad you came."
Eric could sense something was wrong. Steven's smile was clearly forced.
"Did something happen?" He asked.
Steven sighed
"The Kalos league is in a massive panic" he said "the champion has gone missing"
Eric glanced at chespin who wore a shocked and fearful expression.
"Missing?" He asked.

Steven walked to a small building and lead Eric inside.
"The boy was supposed to call the police force there yesterday but he never did"

Eric once against glanced at chespin. He looked like he was about to cry but tried to be brave.
Eric looked Steven straight in the eyes. Face had a serious expression on his face.
"I'll look for him..."
