Mahogany's P.O.V.
It's Christmas time already! I have no idea what I should ask for, but my parents are gonna take me back to the all-shiny school as a Christmas gift. I'm so excited!
I decided not to tell any of my friends I was leaving, I just told them that I was going home for Christmas. They didn't suspect a thing.
A week later~
Finally, I was at the island where Shiny Academy was. It wasn't that far, so we walked. I was offered to spend a few days there at the new dorms, and my old friends were going to let me stay in their dorm.
We reached my old school and I almost cried of happiness. I was so happy to see my friends again. And, just as they texted me, they were waiting for me at the door.
"Mahogany!" They screamed out of happiness when they saw me. I squealed as well and we rushed to each other and hugged each other like we had just survived a sinking ship. "You're back!" Rydel the Brionne exclaimed. I had met her years ago at day care. And next, Amelia the Pikachu said, "I'm so happy!" I met her last year in Alolan Forms club.
They showed me to their new dorm and it felt weird now being in different halls and seeing so many uniquely colored Pokémon again.
It felt so good to be back here, even for just a few days. The great Principal Nator, a Turtonator, greeted me. His shiny form is so cool.
Then, on the way to the dorms, I saw my old crush, Silver the shiny Alolan Persian. His fur was a nice blueish-gray. His head and ears were very big, but he was still popular. He always tricked everyone, but I still liked him.
Silver looked my way and walked over. "Mahogany? Is that you?" Starting to blush, I nodded. "It's so great to see you again!" He exclaimed.
Him and I were always good friends, and I even asked him out a year ago. But I put him on the spot and he nervously rejected me. Somewhere deep in my heart, there was a part of me that still liked him. And I had a feeling he still like me.

A few days later, Christmas morning~

I woke up that morning, full of delight. Christmas time was here! I looked at the foot of my bed to see a pile of about a dozen or so gifts. Rydel and Amelia were just waking up too, getting out of bed to open their gifts.
"Merry Christmas!" We all yelled in unison. We rushed to our presents and grabbed one each. Rydel said, "We should open our gifts together, one at at a time and compare!" She threw her fins in the air. We agreed and sat in the dorm, gifts ready. We began to open them, one at a time, together and in sync.
Boy, did we have fun. I got lots of cool gifts, including a few new books and a new outfit:

It was beautiful! Rydel and Amelia were in on my Mega Evolution, everyone at Shiny Academy was. But I also told them that I suspected Rose was after my Mega Stone, so that was now hidden in my new accessory on my horn. I had new anklets and an accessory on my tail to match my horn piece. My favorite part was the necklace that I got, it was a charm necklace. The lightning charm was from Amelia, the flower charm from Rydel. I still didn't know who the heart was from, but my friends seemed to know.
I asked them who it was from, and Rydel said, "You'll find out soon enough." Then we heard a knock on our dorm door. "Oh, there they are now!" Amelia happily exclaimed.
I had my new outfit on already, so I went to open the door. And, Silver was there.
"Silver! Merry Christmas!" I exclaimed. He said, "Same to you! I just came to say Merry Christmas- wait, that's the necklace we gave you!" "We?" "Yeah, your friends and I made that for you!" "Thanks so much! So, do you know who gave me the heart charm?" Silver blushed a bit and flicked his tail as he said, "That one's from me." I widened my eyes and smiled. I couldn't speak. Silver gave me a kiss on the cheek and said as he left, "Merry Christmas, Mahogany."
I turned around and closed the door and my friends were squealing with joy. "Mahogany! It's clear he always liked you!" Rydel squealed. Amelia nodded, unable to speak. "Wow..." I murmured. Amelia said, "If you still like him, you should ask him out before you go!" I blushed and said, "Well, I would, but... I kinda like two others back at Pokémon Academy..." Rydel exclaimed, "Ooooooh! Do they like you?" I nodded and said, "I'm pretty sure." Amelia and Rydel both squealed and hugged. I just smiled, continuing to blush.

A few days later~

It's almost New Year's Eve, and I'll be spending that wonderful night back at Pokémon Academy. I left that day, on the twenty-eighth. Sure, I was sad to leave my friends and Silver, but I was just as excited to go back.
"Goodbye, everyone," I said as I stood by the main entrance to my former school. Amelia, Rydel, and Silver were all there to see me off. Amelia came up to me first and gave me a hug. I hugged her back as she said, "Mahogany, I don't know who I'd be if I hadn't of met you in Alolan Forms Club. Goodbye, good friend." She backed away and let Rydel say her goodbyes. "Mahogany, I'm glad I got to spend nearly my whole life with you. I'm glad I got to see you again. Goodbye, and don't forget to text all of us!" She smiled and we hugged. Then, it was Silver's turn. "Mahogany, I wish I hadn't turned you down when you asked me out a year ago." He hesitated and I hesitated also with a smile. He continued, "Maybe we can get together sometime. Goodbye, Mahogany." He gave me another kiss on the cheek, and I gave him one too. I could hear Amelia and Rydel trying to contain their excitement when they saw what was happening.
Then my parents called out, "Come on, Mahogany, we have to go!" They seemed to be in a rush, like they couldn't be there. I said goodbye to all my friends as I grabbed my bag and rushed to the car.
I had such a great time. I wish it wasn't over, but now New Year's would be just a good a time back at Pokémon Academy.
