Mahogany's P.O.V.
"DORMS?!?!" Lunar and I exclaimed in unison when J-Money had told us we were getting our dorms the next day. The school day, which was my first day, was over when we heard the news.
"Yep," J-Money replied. "Dorms! And they're letting us PICK our two dorm mates!" "Sweet! How about you and I, Lunar, and Skippy could be our other dorm mate!" I exclaimed to Lunar, who happily replied, "Yeah! This is gonna be awesome! Let's find Skippy and see if she's in!"
We easily found Skippy answering some more Jumpy questions. We told her we were thinking about being dorm mates and she agreed.

Some time later...

"Mr. Nape, the three of us would like to be dorm mates!" Skippy told Mr. Nape, who was in charge of arranging students' dorms. He said, "Alright, the three of you will be in a dorm together! I think I know the perfect dorm for you three..." He reached in a desk drawer and pulled out a key that said the numbers '1005.' "This is your dorm key. You will be in dorm number 1005," Mr. Nape told us as he handed Skippy the key. "Sweet!" She said. We rushed to the dorm area, at the back of the school. There was an elevator. We stepped inside. There were buttons that said the numbers '1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9' and '10.' We guessed we had to go to the tenth floor since our dorm number was 1005. We pressed the button, the doors closed. We could feel the elevator going up. The doors finally opened and we could see multiple doors. One of them said our dorm number, so that was our dorm.
Skippy got the key and unlocked the door. We stepped inside of what was a huge room. And I mean HUUUUUUUGE. One side was painted with a mahogany-and-black-striped pattern. There was a bed with matching sheets. There was also a window, a bookshelf, and a dresser in that section. That section was to the left side of the room.
On the right side of the room, there was another section. The walls were light brown and had a rainbow and multiple stars on it. There was also a bed with rainbow sheets and a bookshelf, a window, and a dresser.
In the middle of the room, the walls were black with yellow glowing rings painted on them. In a large yellow ring there was a window. The bed had black sheets with yellow rings. There was also a dresser and a bookshelf.
We stared at the room a few minutes, and then, all in unison, we exclaimed, "MINE!!!" as the three of us each rushed to a section of the room. I picked the left, Skippy picked the right and Lunar picked the middle. It was almost as if the dorms were made just for us... Weird but cool.
I took the bus home one last time to take some books and things to occupy myself and to say goodbye to my parents. They wished me good luck at school as I got back on the bus with my activities.
This school is cool! It seemed good so far, but the next day would go all wrong...
