[Greninja's POV]

"Leaf."

"No Leaf."

"With Leaf."

"Nope."

"Yes."

Right now Pidgeot, Charizard and I were waiting in the training hall for Pikachu and arguing whether he is going to come alone or along with Leaf. Pidgeot said he was gonna bring Leaf. We both disagreed. Pidgeot and I were done from our training with the new Jewels and Charizard had also finished his last session of the day training the army. So we decided to have some time for ourselves and enjoy life like we used to in the olden days. Of course Pikachu was running late and with the possibility of bringing Leaf along.

I was sitting on Charizard's humongous head as he was slumped across the field in his iconic bored mood. Pidgeot was perched on one of his wings that was above me. As more time passed we were popping nerves as Pikachu was wasting our precious time of enjoyment. He was in for some explanation when he got here. It was almost 45 minutes later than our decided time.

Finally the door opened and Pikachu walked in. I quickly jumped down from Charizard's head and charged a Rock tomb as I headed straight towards him with Pidgeot following behind me. Pikachu's eyes widened when he saw the super effective attack coming his way, followed by a barrage of punches and kicks from my Aerial ace. He quickly activated his Iron tail to defend himself. He was successful at fending me off as I moved aside to give Pidgeot some space for his Heat wave and Brave bird. Pikachu ran for his life as Pidgeot chased him across the field. By the time Pikachu fended Pidgeot, Charizard was up and ready with his Blast burn and Flamethrower as he cornered Pikachu with his huge body and devoured him alive. I doubt that was gonna kill him but surely drain his Jewel's overpowering energy.

After what felt like five minutes of a horrendous Flame show. Charizard backed off as the flames dispersed and revealed a half-ass pissed Pikachu covered in black soot and burns. Serves him right for ditching his buddies for a vixen.

"Real mature guys, real mature." Pikachu said with a half-assed expression.

"Yeah, as if you're the one to talk. Dude you are fifty minutes late!" Pidgeot yelled.

"Okay, I understand I'm late but you don't have to murder me for that."

"As a matter of fact we do. We promised to leave everything and meet here today." I said as I poked my finger on his head as he tried to push it off.

"But. You had to be busy with your little girlfriend while we waited here like Houndours." Charizard spoke, Pikachu glared at him.

"Don't say anything about Eva!" he yelled angrily. That hit a nerve.

"OH yeah, then better be on time next time."

"Fine.."

Now that this was solved, I turned to Pidgeot. He looked at me and he groaned internally as he knew what was gonna happen. "I almost thought you guys had forgotten it."

Charizard and I laughed as Pikachu stared at us in confusion. "What's going on?" he asked.

"We were getting bored so we placed a bet on whether you would bring Leaf with you or not. Pidgeot lost." I replied.

"And what was the bet?"

"Tell our crush we like them."

"Does he even have one?"

"Oh, he does. He. Sure. Does." Charizard said with a sly smile.

"Guys this is not fair."

"Should have said that before betting."

"I wouldn't recommend doing this bet guys, don't play with girls' feelings." Pikachu said as he tried to sound like an advisor.

"Big words from Mr. Boyfriend here. Why? Is Mrs. Foxy getting too much to handle for you?" Pikachu again glared at Charizard.

Not being a scaredy cat but I'm not comfortable pissing Pikachu off, same with Pidgeot here. His electricity can be dangerous for us. We leave that task to Charizard only.

"Charizard, with all due respect. If you say another word against Eva I'm going to roast you!"

"Yeah sure."

"Guys stop. We have other things to discuss here." I stepped in between.

After arguing for another ten minutes, Pidgeot gave up and was now forced to go admit his love for someone only Charizard knew. I was kind of curious. Pikachu and I went along with him to see it all happen. Charizard was too big to sneak behind and he already knew so he stayed back at the field.

All the way to the room, Pidgeot didn't even look back. He was really trying hard to keep it together. We followed him and he took us to the room where the Legendary teleballs were kept. It was night so no one was around and so we all sneaked in the room. He was crushing on a legendary? That is bold..

He gave us one last look before he went forward and picked up a ball. We had taken a spot into hiding and watched him use Rayquaza's Teleball. Y'know, I was honestly very surprised. He literally just called Rayquaza here to confess his love... I kind of feel guilty in pushing him to do this.

We held our breaths as the light emerged from the ball and materialised in front of Pidgeot as it took the shape of the green serpentine legend. As the creature absorbed its surroundings and realised where it was, it looked down to find Pidgeot looking up at it with a smile. And I swear I saw a smile appear on its face too.

"Pidgeot, did you call me here?" The familiar feminine voice was heard and I literally felt to slap myself to wake up.

"Yeah, I actually wanted to tell you something." Pidgeot said, he was definitely blushing. It wasn't visible because of his black feathers below the eye though.

"Oh? What is it? Is something bothering you?" Rayquaza asked, it kind of sounded worried. I really have doubts about the gender of the legends now. Rayquaza definitely had a female gender. Whoever said Legends and Myths are genderless is a fool.

"Uhhh, you see there's this Pokemon I like but there are a few things that make me unsure."

"Oh Pidgeot, I'm sure if it's you she won't think anything bad. Though, can you tell what bothers you?" Rayquaza replied, and let me tell you, I don't know maybe it's just me but I think I heard Rayquaza lower its tone when it spoke about the girl. Like she was sad or maybe jealous? I am going crazy right now. I seriously have doubts believing we are hearing a legendary pokemon speak like that. But on the better note, since when did Pidgeot have such a good relationship with Rayquaza??

"Well, she is a Dragon type while I'm just a Normal type, we both are flying though. And she's a rare Pokemon, very rare. Unlike my breed which can be found with almost every trainer from Kanto."

"Really? That's what bothers you? Pidgeot you really are adorable. Don't worry about that at all. I'm sure she wouldn't mind it once she sees how powerful you are. At least I wouldn't if I were in place of that girl- I mean I.. uhhh you know, if it was me I wouldn- ughh what am I even saying.... " Raquaza started to get flustered as it tried to explains its words. Honestly though this was the first time I saw a legendary behave like this. And it made me wonder how hard it was for them to maintain their proud demeanor in front of everyone, after all they were creatures too and maybe just like Rayquaza they wished to have fun as well. They have a heart too.

"Rayquaza." Pidgeot said, interrupting Rayquaza from it's muttering. Rayquaza looked at Pidgeot still a bit flustered from it- at this point I should call it 'her' because she definitely gives me the feminine vibe. She was still a bit flustered from her little muttering talk.

"Yeah?"

"I like you." And there we have it folks, the moment we were waiting for.

Rayquaza looked like her breath was taken from her, eyes staring at Pidgeot, mouth partly open, her hands clasped together as she tried to reconnect the words spoken to her. A blush formed below her sharp eyes, as her hands moved to her mouth. "I-I don't know- what to say..." she uttered softly. Pidgeot looked disappointed.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that so suddenly." He turned around after saying, his head was low. Even my breath was taken and I'm sure Pikachu too felt the same.

Rayquaza quickly flew around Pidgeot and hovered in front of him. "No, I didn't mean it like that. It's actually... I'm just a bit surprised, that's all." Rayquaza said, she then slightly turned her head, "And I like you too..." she spoke softly, a bright blush residing her cheeks.

Pidgeot looked at Rayquaza with slightly shocked expression. This made Rayquaza blush even more as she hid her face with her tail.

"S-stop staring.... It's embarrassing." She said timidly. I needed a shock. A good electric shock to make my brains start functioning again. It was getting too much.

Pidgeot lowered his gaze quickly, "I'm sorry."

"I have a question though."

"What?"

"I'm a genderless Pokemon, Meaning I'm not even a female... Doesn't that bother you?" Rayquaza asked with sadness.

"Not at all, I like your personality, I don't care if you're not a female."

"But that also means that we can't do.... It."

"Hmm? What do you mean?"

Rayquaza blushed slightly at this question. "Y'know, when two opposite gender Pokemon love eachother... they.... Do that...."

"Love isn't just about mating, it's about being with that one individual that means everything to you and whom you would protect at all cost." Man that made me melt. I didn't know Pidgeot could say things like this.

Rayquaza took a short breath as she almost broke down at those words. It was beautiful to be honest. Pidgeot said it from his heart.

"Thank you Pidgeot. You made me realise the truth of love."

"So, will you be-" "Yes!" Rayquaza cried, she cried like a young teenage girl experiencing her first ever proposal.

She knelt down to Pidgeot's level and touched the tip of her nose with Pidgeot's beak. "This marks as the first step of our new relationship." She said softly. She backed up a little revealing a stiff Pidgeot. He was definitely enthralled by that kiss.

"I'll see you tomorrow then.." Rayquaza said.

"Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow." Pidgeot said as he took a step backwards.

"Goodnight, My leader~"

Pidgeot gave her a funny look. "What, it's just a nickname. Can't I give you one now?" Rayquaza asked with an obvious look.

"Alright. Goodnight."

Rayquaza gave him a last smiling look before touching the teleball and getting sucked inside. Pikachu and I came out of our hiding as Pidgeot turned to us. We crashed into a hug as we congratulated him on his proposal success.

Pidgeot had never looked more happier as he was now. He looked like he could beat even Charizard with the new found Excitement and Boost.

Yeah it happened. I did the impossible. And anyone who is going to question it, please remember, It's a world where Gardevoirs can be a male.

It was meant for everyone. That's just something I came up with while I was writing. And I am Proud of my words. Makes me kinda surprised at my own self.

The next day, Me and Charizard waiting at the field alone.

"Do you think we shouldn't have made Pidgeot confess his love?" I asked.

"Maybe we were dumb to think it would be fun." Charizard replied and I just nodded to that.
