[Serena's POV]

"Don't worry Serena, I won't let anything happen to you." The words kept ringing in my head as I lied somewhere with my eyes closed. I made a small effort and opened them, I blinked a couple of times to adjust to the light. I slowly sat up and looked around the place was pure white, nothing else to see as far as the eyes reach.

I panicked and frantically started looking for anything that could tell what was happening. After trying hard for a sometime I lost all hope and slumped down on the floor. Tears poured out of my eyes but I made no effort to wipe them. I kept crying until a feminine voice was heard.

"Are you lost, young girl?" I looked up and my eyes widened when I saw the figure standing in front of me. "Xe-Xerneas…?" The word barely came out as a whisper. The legendary figure standing before me closed its eyes as if replying 'yes'. "You must be Yvonne." The legend spoke with grace, I could just nod as the words wouldn't dare to come out because of shock. "I presume you have the knowledge of the power that resides in you." I nodded again.

"I also presume you know why you are here." I nervously looked at the legend, "uh-uh-I don't really kn-now.. but maybe…" I whispered softly. "Do you remember any happening that you might have caused?" My eyes wide as I remembered the tragedy at Ash's house. "Yeah, I do…" I replied, feeling very heavy. "Hmm, now the reason you are here, because the power of jewel is being removed from you. But it can kill you, that's why I am here to keep you from being dead." Tears welled up in my eyes again as I recalled everything and what was happening. 

The last words I heard from Ash, ringed in my head again, "Don't worry Serena, I won't let anything happen to you." I hid my face, as I cried softly onto them. Suddenly I felt something weird on my chest. When I looked down, I saw something glowing inside me. Something like a jewel. I watched in shock as the jewel slowly began moving out and soon penetrated out of my skin, but it didn't harm me at all. I watched the jewel as it got absorbed in Xerneas' glowing horns. My vision started to get blurred as it started spinning and I fell down as everything went dark.

I woke up again, my head was resting on Xerneas' legs as the legendary Pokemon was sitting down on the floor. It looked down at me, "How do you feel now young girl?" It asked me, "I feel pretty good…" I whispered out, then sat up. I was actually feeling much better. "The jewel had taken a lot of life from you.. you were in a deep slumber for a long time." I looked at Xerneas with surprise. "How long?" I asked, "I don't know but probably two weeks as you humans count it." It replied. My eyes wide when I heard I was asleep for two week now.

"Don't worry you are fine now. You can wake up if you try." Xerneas stood up and started walking away from me, I lifted my hands and called out to it to stop, "wait…" but it just disappeared in the light. I stood up and looked around but I could only see white all the way my vision could see.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, I tried to concentrate. I heard a faint sound of something ringing.. or more like beeping, then there was another sound, someone's voice. I focused more and it became clearer. It was a person, the person was calling someone. I tried to focus more and it sounded like a female.

"... -ignals are increasing significantly. She might wake up soon." The woman said, "That's great news, I'll call the president." There was another person, he spoke and then I heard someone opening and closing the door, like someone went out. By now everything felt normal, I could hear every sound near me. I slowly opened my eyes, the woman came near me. "You're awake.." She said in a soft tone.

I looked at her, she wore a white coat, like that is a scientist's. I nodded my head in reply as I still could speak anything. "That's good.." she said in a relieved tone, then she went to a table and came back with a glass of water. "Here, drink this. It will make you better" I slowly sat up and drank the water. She kept the glass back just when the door opened again. I turned my head and saw Leaf, my face cheered up, following her was Ash. The moment I saw him, I was lost, I missed him so much. 

He stood by the door as Leaf came and took me in a hug. She was saying something I didn't hear as my mind was locked on Ash as he stared at me, his eyes showed joy, longing, sadness and love. "Serena…" he whispered almost inaudible but or me it was the only sound I heard since the door opened. Leaf got down as he came in crashing for a hug. I just realised now that tears were rolling down my eyes.

"I missed you so much, I was so worried, I couldn't focus on my work.. I missed you so so much!" He cried on as I just listened to him, my own tears not stopping. The nurse had probably left as I couldn't hear her. I opened my eyes in between to see Leaf staring at us, but I could care less. We both pulled back and stared in each other's eyes, before he leaned in as I did the same and we kissed. 

At that moment I felt so alive, I haven't felt so happy ever. We both broke the kiss and kept staring in our eyes, "I love you Ash" I spoke softly. "I love you too Serena" he replied with the same amount of love as I did. 

"We did it.." he said, "We pulled out the jewel from you successfully.." I just nodded with a smile.

Hey guys, so it's finally that time of the month. Bad joke, this sounds wrong in every way. But I do update once in a month so uhhh hehe...*sweatdrops*. anyway, I hope you liked the story, I know it's a bit short. But I'm sorry. Sniping time for writting is hard here... Plus because of Ramadan, in the morning I am whining because I'm hungry and after dusk I am on a food spree, so I forget about other things..
