[Serena POV]

I opened my eyes and found myself on a bed. I slowly turned my head and looked around, I was in Ash's bedroom. I smiled and sat up, I saw Ash at his table facing the opposite direction. He was busy in something. I got up and walked up to him.

I lightly takes his shoulder, he turned his head and saw me, "hey Serena, how are you?" He asked cheerfully. "I'm great. Thanks for sending Metagross." I replied, he gave a big smile. "No problem, I'm happy that you're safe." He said and turned his attention back to his work. There were papers and files in his table and he measuring and calculating something.

"What are you doing?" I asked him trying to figure out, "nothing.... Just a little Pokenation work." He replied, he was too focused on it, then I remembered something, "w- where's Calem?" I asked in hesitation. "Prison." I sighed at this. Then we heard Ash's phone ring, he instinctively answered it. "Hello?..... Oh hey Gary..... Yeah I'm working on it......uh huh..... Well that's great, I'll meet you there.... Thanks. See ya!" Ash then kept the phone back and looked at me. "I need to go Kanto for a while, I'll be back in two hours. Until then take care of Leaf." He said, I replied with an okay, he then took the papers he was working on and arranged them in a file and kept them in his bag. "Emma and Amy are downstairs. They are preparing dinner." He told, he was hurrying around the room, as if the someone was urgent. He got ready and took his bag, before leaving the room he looked at me and said, "good bye and stay safe." Then closed the door.

I sighed and went to the bathroom. I hope he doesn't come home injured.... As he usually does. After that I went down and meet Leaf and Amy in the living room. "How are you feeling, ma'am?" Amy asked, I sweatdropped, "Amy, I told you to not call me that. Call me Serena." I whined, she let out a giggle, "sorry Serena."

Me and Leaf played together while Amy and Emma were doing some households. It was almost time for dinner and Ash was still not home. Emma set the table and we sat for dinner however Emma and Amy didn't eat with us as it was their habit. We were about to finish when the front door opened and Ash entered the house. "Hey I'm back, sorry for being late."he greeted, then quickly washed his hands and sat at the table. Emma served him food and he started eating, "so how did it go?" Emma asked Ash, "everything was fine, the international police has granted the permission." He replied, "what permission?" I asked in confusion. "we found a hidden Team Rocket base, in Unova region. Tomorrow there will be a bomb attack, their base will be destroyed. I needed permission for this from the international police." He told, I was taken aback, he was going to attack their base with bomb. "Won't it hurt the nearby cities?" I asked, "no, their base is hidden and far from any City or village." I just nodded in understandment.

After dinner we went to our bedroom. Well I was supposed to sleep in the spare bedroom.... But there was an accident.

---Flashback---

"Pancham, Sylveon stop fighting." I shouted, both of them were fighting because Sylveon accidentally slipped and fell on his food. Pancham was angry at Sylveon for ruining his food. And now both of them were making a ruckus, pancham was not forgiving Sylveon and Sylveon was not giving up because it wasn't really her fault. They kept on fighting each other until it got so intense that they used attacks at each other.

I was trying to calm them down but they weren't listening, they had already knocked out Delphox because she tried to stop them.

It was when pancham used STONE EDGE in the room and the room was destroyed into mess. The last EDGE if the attack came directly at me and I got hit. That was when they came to their senses and came running to me. I was mad at both of them beyond point.

They had destroyed the room where Ash had given me too stay. I don't know what will happen when Ash will come home?

Ash wasn't that mad as I thought but now I had to sleep in his room with him. So, when we reached the room, Ash sat again at his table and continued his calculations, I went to the bathroom to get changed. When I came back I went beside Ash to have look at his work. There were lines and notations, numbers and markings. "What is this anyway?" I asked, Ash didn't take his attention from the papers, "this is plan how we will drop the bombs, we can't simply go there. We need to sneak close then attack else they will know before we reach there." He said, I let out a soft 'oh'. I went to the bed and laid down not falling asleep, I kept awake for quite a while. I was just staring at the ceiling until Ash snapped me. "what are you staring at?" He asked, I looked at him, he was standing on the other side of bed. "Uhh, nothing..." I replied, he plopped down on the bed next to me, but a little further. He covered himself and closed his eyes, soon was out. I still was awake, I don't know why but I don't feel sleepy today.

I was awake for a long time, about one hour or so, I heard some muffled sounds. I looked to my right and saw Ash, mumbling something in his sleep, he was sweating a lot. His breathing was increased. I got worried and nudged him to wake him up. "hey Ash? Wake up." I whispered while shaking him a bit. He opened his eyes and sat up. He let out deep breaths before looking at me. "Thanks.." he whispered, I sat up too. "What happened? Did you have a nightmare?" I asked with concern. He nodded slowly as he rubbed his head. "ahh, just a stupid vision, it keeps coming again and again. Its trying to tell something, but I can't figure it out." He said, "what did you see?" I asked, "ugh... I saw a dark sky, stars twinkling. Moon shining brightly, souls ascending towards the stars. And vanishing before reaching the sky in flames. That's it." He said, I thought for a moment but nothing got my mind. "That's odd, I don't understand anything." I said, he nodded too. "Well you must sleep, you have an important work tomorrow." I said, Ash laid back on the bed and closed his eyes in an attempt to sleep. I too laid back and stared at him. He looked very cute while sleeping. I was lost in my mind when he spoke up, "don't feel sleepy?" I looked back at him, he was looking in my eyes with a questioned look. "I don't know, I just can't fall asleep." I replied, he smiled at me, then he moved forward and wrapped his hands around me. I was caught off guard by this, my cheeks started to heat up. "It will help you, as it did to Dawn." He said, I looked on his eyes with confusion. "The day when we played truth and dare at the amusement park. That night there was a thunderstorm and Dawn cuddled up with me for comfort." He explained. I smiled at this and closed my eyes to sleep, and surprisingly I feel asleep quite soon.

[Ash POV]

"Hey Serena, wake up!" I said, I was packing up for the day. Serena was still sleeping on the bed. When I called her a few times she shuffled around and got up. "Why did you wake me up?" She groaned in dizziness. "So that you can get ready to go with me." I replied, she looked at me with confusion. "I can't leave you alone, you have a very precious thing." I added this seen to explain her. She got up and went to the bathroom with some clothes to change in. I went to Leaf's room to get her.

When everyone was ready I called Charizard and Dragonite to take us to our headquarters. We all set aboard and flew to Kanto. I say on Dragonite and Serena and Leaf sat on Charizard. We reached the headquarters in one hour.

I sent Serena and Leaf to my office, while I had a meeting with my agents and soldiers. I explained the plan that I set. They all understood it and then we prepared for the attach. We readied our quinjets and flew towards unova region, towards the Team Rocket base.

[Serena POV]

Ash left us at his office while he went to attach at the base. Me and Leaf sat in the room looking at different things that were kept there. It was quite surprising that Ash had achieved so much. There were quite a numerous trophies and medals. The Pokemon league trophies, medals from many small competition, he even received a few reward from the government for different things he did for the people. But... none of them beared his name, they were all named to Satoshi, Ash's alias. This was the reason why no one recognized him in public, he always received his rewards in disguise.

I was looking at the photos that hung above them. Then suddenly the door opened and a boy a little older than me entered, he saw me and his eyes widened. "Who are you? How did you get here?" He asked in suspicion and anger. I was taken aback, I didn't know him and didn't knew what to say. "ALAIN!!" Leaf shouted in excitement. His eyes shifted from me to Leaf and his expression seem to lighten. "Hey leaf, whatcha doing here? And who is she?" He asked looking at me. "Ash brought us here today because he was going somewhere. She is Serena, Ash's friend." Leaf replied, Alain looked at leaf and nodded okay. "Nice to meet you Serena, sorry for getting angry at first." He said with a smile at me. I nodded in response. He walked in and placed some files on the table and then walked to the door. Before going it he turned around, "hey Leaf, I just remembered that Bonnie is here today as well. You can meet her if you want?" He said, at this Leaf got excited and ran out of the room leaving me behind. "Ah, that's a first..." Alain sighed, then turned to me. "Will you be okay alone?" he asked, I nodded my head slowly. At this he smile and closed the door and walked away.

After he was gone, I went and sat at a chair place in front of the table. I was gazing around the room when me eyes fell on a diary kept in the table. I reached my hand and picked it up.
