Myte left out the door and walked straight. As she did, she heard noises, and familiar voices. She smiles as she went to where they were coming from. She kept going straight to some stairs and went up them.

She smiled as she saw her parents.

"Well that ought to take care of it..." Myte's mom Daw said to her husband Swart.

None of them knew their daughter was here behind them.

Her farther spoke up, "We have to keep this a secret, for everyone's safety."

Her mom nodded agreeing, "You're right. It's too dangerous for anyone to go down there."

"I don't think we should tell anybody about this."

"Maybe we can tell the new professor." Daw suggested.

"Maybe you're right." Swart agreed.

They turn around seeing there daughter standing there smiling.

"Oh, Myte!" Her mother said surprised. "You startled me!"

"Sorry..." Myte said awkwardly feeling bad.

Her mom laughed softly, "It's ok."

Her father smiled too. "Hey, champ!"

"Hey dad." Myte said smiling chuckling softly.

"Today is the day you get your first Pokémon!"

"We are so happy for you, sweetie!"

Myte blushed a bit smiling. "Thanks..."

"Sorry we didn't meet you at home. We discovered something in the cave last night. As archeologists, your mother and I are very through in our work." Her father spoke apologetically.

"It's ok dad." Still smiled. "You guys were busy working. I completely understand that."

Daw nodded agreeing, "That's right. But enough talking. Let's head down to the professor's lab and let you pick up your very first Pokémon!"

Her father smiled, "We'll see you there!"

The family goes to where the professor was. When they were, a scientist asked Daw and Swart if he could talk to Myte for a bit. They let him and said they would wait for her in the place.

"As you already know, over there is the Pokémon Professor's lab. Years of Pokémon research are stored on that facility."

Myte nodded listening.

After they talked for a bit and said goodbye, Myte left and went into the lab.
