A girl named Myte was sleeping until her alarm goes off and she shuts it off while having eyes closed. She woke up, smiling happily. "Oh Wait! I can't believe today has finally come! Today I get my first Pokémon from the Professor. Awesome! I'm that much closer to officially being a Pokémon Trainer!"

She got dressed and went downstairs to make breakfast. After she was done. She got her shoes on and went outside and heard a familiar voice.

"Hey Myte! It's me, Jake!" Myte's best friend named Jake beamed excitedly going to her. Myte lived in a big red and white house. Most people did in this town. "I can't believe we're getting our first Pokémon today! This is the day we've dreamed of since we were kids!

I'm on my way. To the lab to get mine right now!" Then he remembered something important that he needed to tell her. "Oh ya, your parents wanted to see you before you went to the lab. I saw them pass my house earlier, heading towards the digging site. Hurry and go talk to them. I'll be waiting for you at the lab!" He left happily to the lab to wait for her.

Myte started walking happily. She saw her neighbor that lived in front of her house. She talked to her for a bit and she gave her good advice. "Some wild Pokémon are harder to catch than others. Also, some Poké Balls are more effective on certain Pokémon." The lady was named Mrs. Chilrie or Regie.

"Glad you told me." Myte said smiling. "Thanks."

The lady smiled, "You're welcome. Have fun now!" Waved as spoke as Myte was leaving.

Myte turned smiling. "Thanks! I will!"
