Damn. I like all of them... rank in how much I like them with one being highest? Also, why I like them.

21. Turtwig-They're cute little turtles. What's not to like? But I much rather have Chimchar. I'm a Fire type lover. They suit me more.

20. Piplup-not really my favorite but I love penguins and water types are good to have for Rock type gyms.

19. Bulbasaur-they're a little froggy. Venusaur is really good to have for X and Y. Those Fairy types can be a pain sometime.

18. Tepig-ITS A PIGGY!!! Plus, the next two forms look bad ass amongst being my favorite colors. Black and red. Then they turn into Fighting types. Another typing I absolutely love. I usually name them Bacon, regardless of gender. It's sort of a hint towards one of my favorite you tubers; Supereeego.

17. Treeko-my brother likes them more than me but I like them too. They're so cool looking. I like naming them Blade if they're a dude and Dana if they're a girl.

16. Snivy-not my favorite. It's still a good Pokémon too have and is really sassy looking and I like snakes so... but I never really choose it.

15. Chespin-cute little chipmunk. I don't always choose it but when I do, it's so cool to have. I usually name it Chester if it's a boy or Carly if it's a girl.

14. Totodile-alligator. As scary as they are, they're still cool looking. It's not my favorite, but I still love them and it looks like a baby t-Rex and I love dinosaurs so yeah.

13. Popplio-SO CUTE! And the final form? Beautiful! It starts out okay but turns a little too girly for my taste later. Even if it's pretty, it's not my type. I prefer scary or bad ass looking Pokémon but I'll still choose it.

12. Chikorita-I loved this Pokémon. I think it's super cute how it'll fall for the trainer sometimes. Hilarious even. I always chose this one or Cyndaquil. I hardly chose Totodile because of the other two.

11. Rowlet-cute then bad ass. I like archery, I think it's cool. Then there's the added fact he looks like a Pokémon the Green Arrow would have and I love the show Arrow so there's that. When I first chose it, it turned out to be a girl so I named her Artemis and I'm currently playing with said starter. My second run through if Moon. I chose Litten the first time.

10. Mudkip-it's cute and super reliable. The typing makes it really good in the game. Even if I prefer Fire types, I still liked this starter too.

9. Squirtle-I've always had a soft spot for this water turtle. I think bazookas are awesome and can anyone else see Deadpool having a Blastoise? So there's that too.

8. Cyndaquil-man. This one is so cool. I always choose food ol Cyndaquill. What can I just say, I love Typhlosion. I hope they remake the games... again. I want to see it in better dimensions like they did with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

7. Oshawott-such a cute sea otter. I'm currently playing Black 2 with it as my starter. It's a boy and I named him Usagi. It's from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 tv series. That samurai rabbit Usagi that Leo befriends? That one.

6. Froakie-it's a cute frog! Don't even get me started on Greninja, especially if it's shiny. I love ninjas. TMNT and Naruto fed into that love of ninjas.

5. Fennekin-I love foxes. I love Fire types. This is perfect. I love it almost as much as I love Vulpix.

4. Litten-black and red and a cat! Then there's the added bonus of its final form looking like a wrestler. I grew up watching WWE with wrestlers like Rey Mysterio, John Cena, Undertaker,  etc. I love this Pokémon and it quickly surpassed my other favorite starters.

3. Chimchar-when I first played Diamond, I chose this starter. I loved Chimchar. I wanted to punch Paul in the face when he abandoned the cute monkey in the anime. Infernape is awesome too. Then it turns into a Fire/ Fighting type. That just sealed my love for it.

2. Torchic-I'm half-Mexican. I grew up with chickens. I raised a few chicks myself. I got attacked by a chicken and I feared them for a while but this Pokémon (along with a nicer chicken) helped me get over that. Then it turns into Blaziken. Another Fighting/Fire type. Then came the mega evolution! That was it, this Pokémon would forever be one of my favorites.

1. Charmander-how reminiscent. My first Pokémon from my first ever Pokémon game. Fire Red. This Pokémon made the first few gyms a living hell but I got through it. No matter how many times I lost to Brock and Misty... all I did was add a Butterfree to my team. And a Pikachu. But still, those battle were pains in the ass! But I will always love Charmander. I even love it more than Lucario and that's saying something because I LOVE Lucario. But yeah, Charizard is my baby.

It was hard to list them because I like them all so much!
