I like Brock too, but he was a son of a gun to beat with Charmander. I mean, Misty wasn't any easier but by then I had another Pokémon as coverage. Or I leveled up my fire type enough to last a bit.

Plus, I really ship her with Ash when I'm not shipping him with Gary or N. Yeah... don't judge my ships. Everyone has their own ships and I leave them be, so long as they don't make fun of mine. I really like shipping because I like the reasons behind ships.

But back to favorite gym leaders.

Misty is my favorite because of the anime and manga.

But if I went with video game wise, I'd have to say my favorite gym leader is Ramos from Kalos... heh, that rhymed. Simply because in IRL I love climbing trees, swings, and slides. In the game, we have to scale up a giant tree by climbing a rope or swinging from ropes and then when we're done battling him (when we beat him), we get to go down a super slide. Isn't that awesome? Plus, he's like those funny grandpas that have silly stuff to say.
