What if Primeape returned in Alola?

It would probably deal with him being the 2(+?) time champion of the P1 Grand Prix and he and Anthony probably came to fight the Masked Royal in an exhibition match. Ash recognizes his Primeape in all of the advertisements and Ash and Co. end up going to the match. The next part is extremely flexible on why, but Ash ends up battling alongside Primeape. This could be as simple as Ash asks and Anthony's just like "Sure.", maybe Anthony's hurt, or as difficult and complex as my personal favorite, Ash pretty much breaks into the back part where everyone gets ready and he and Primeape beg Anthony to let him battle with Primeape instead of Anthony. It could even be something else entirely. Also, after the battle or whatever, Primeape stays with Ash.

It's worth noting that in my original notes for this idea the very last point was "idk this fandom needs more love for Primeape." and it really does tbh.
