"Prepare for Triple Trouble!"

The waiters ripped of their aprons and pulled out there Pokeballs. "This will be a triple battle. You have thirty minutes to win. One Pokemon per trainer. Now let the battle begin!"

"My name is Cress, the coolest of the group," said Blue Hair."Go, Simipour!"

"I'm Chili, the hottest!" said the Red-Haired one. "Go Simisear!"

"I'm Cilan, the Pokemon connoisseur!" said Green Hair. "Go Simisage!"

"My name is Sierra, and this is my Tepig! Go... Flare!"

"My name is Chris, and I've been waiting for this for a long time. Go Snivy!"

"I'm Chase, and I want to be a Pokemon master! Go Osha!"

And then the battle began.

"Osha, Razor Shell on Simisear!"

"Simisear, dodge and use Bite!"

Osha charged Simisear with his scallchop sword in hand. He tried to slash Simisear, but it was too fast. Simisear jumped up and bit Osha's head.

"Snivy, Vine Whip on Simipour!"

"Simipour, Scald!"

Snivy struck Simipour once on the head before being blasted in the face by scalding water.

"Simisear, let go of Osha and use Ember on Snivy!"

"Flare, Use Flame Charge on Simisear!"

Chili wasn't expecting this. He thought Sierra would take the opening to attack Simisage.

"Simisear, dodge and use Bite on Flare!"

Simisear did dodge and tried to bite Flare, but he had taken too long. Osha had recovered from the Bite.

"Osha, Water Gun now!"

Osha hit Simisear with a powerful Water Gun and made him faint, but forgot he had another opponent to worry about.

"Simisage, Leech Seed!"

Simisage spit out seeds that landed all around Osha. They immediately sprouted, and when he tried to escape, the circle got tighter around him.

Meanwhile, Snivy was battling blind. Literally. The Scald had temporarily blinded her!

"Simipour, use Bite."

"Snivy, listen!"

Simipour's fangs started to glow. "Simi simi" it said, thinking he was about to win. Snivy turned to face him, having heard his voice.

"Now, Vine Whip!"

"Block it with Water Gun!"

Simipour managed to block the Vine Whip, but he also hit Snivy, cooling of her burning eyes and allowing her to see.

"Now, flip over him and use Razor Leaf!"

Snivy flipped over Simipour, and started glowing in midair. By the time she hit the ground, Snivy was no more. Servine hit the ground and blasted Simipour with a Razor Leaf so powerful, it was more like-

"Leaf Tornado. Servine learned Leaf Tornado!" Chris was ecstatic.

Simipour fell to the ground, unconcious. Now to help Osha and Flare. She looked up at the clock. Five minutes left! She'd have to celebrate later.

"Servine, use Tackle on Simisage!"

Servine smashed into Simisage, but Simisage just drained Osha and restored health.

Sierra had noticed the clock as well. She also noticed that no one was hurting Simisage unless they got rid of the seeds. "Flare, use Ember on Osha!"

"What?!? We're on the same team Sierra!"

Sierra winked an said, "Just trust me." Chase knew where he had heard that before.

Flare launched several pockets of fire at Osha, but they hit the seeds instead, catching them on fire and burning them away.

"Now use Flame Charge on Simisage!"

Flare charged Simisage with amazing speed, knocking him unconscious just as the bell rang.

"We are proud to present all of you with the Trio Badge!" Cilan said, and the brothers gave their opponents the first gym badge in Unova. "Congratulations, all of you! Good luck on your journeys!

They thanked the gym leaders and walked outside. "Well, I guess this is goodbye," Chris said. "Though I have a feeling we'll meet again someday."

"Thank you for battling with us. We hope to see you again." Sierra told her.

"Hey wait, aren't you going to Route 3?" Chase asked.

"No, I'm going to the Dreamyard first."

"Oh. Well, see you around then."

Chris ran through the entrance to the Dreamyard and disappeared among the trees. After watching their friend disappear, Chase and Sierra set off on Route 3, eager to find out what awaits them.

"Oh, by the way, nice nickname."
