As Chase battled downstairs, he realized his backpack felt noticeably lighter. He called out a move and looked inside his pack. The white stone he got from Clay was gone! "Darn it!" he said aloud. Then he tuned back into the battle.

As Sierra tried her best to keep Flare going, she noticed something on the ground next to her. It was the white stone that Chase had received in Driftveil City. Suddenly, there was a loud crash. Sierra looked up and saw a cloud of dust billowing from the top of the tower.

"Mini, use Psybeam!"

"Whirlipede, use Rollout!"

Mini launched a spiral of color from her forehead, and Whirlipede spun at full speed towards the floating Pokemon. The Psybeam was too powerful, however, and Whirlipede was launched backwards into the bell on top of the tower. A huge cloud of smoke billowed out and the bell flew off the side of the tower.

Sierra looked up and saw a heavy metal bell falling at terminal velocity. She knew she couldn't move fast enough to dodge it. Suddenly, the white stone started glowing brilliantly.

Chris stood in shock, wondering how her Pokemon had launched such a powerful attack, when suddenly a crack appeared from where the bell had stood moments before. The crack extended and widened. The roof was about to collapse.

Chase was in the midst of battle when he heard a huge crash from upstairs. A few seconds later, dust started raining down from the ceiling. The stone in his backpack lit up with a brilliant light, just as the roof fell in.

Just before the bell could squash Sierra, the stone transformed.

The creature that had emerged was white and had a Vulpix-like face. It's eyes were piercing blue, and it had a huge funnel-shaped tail.

The Pokemon caught the bell with amazing speed and then turned to the Pokemon Sierra was fighting. The White Pokemon opened his mouth and a burst of flame blasted the Pokemon and caused it to faint immediately. Then, with a flash of light, it turned back into a stone. After a few seconds Sierra heard another great crash and was swallowed by a cloud of dust.

As the roof fell, the stone became a Pokemon.

The monster was black and had a face like Archen, but completely black. It had a blue-tipped horn sticking out the back of its head. It's eyes were red and its tail was funnel shaped with blue stripes.

The Pokemon shielded Chase with its wings as the roof fell in.

When the rubble finally stopped falling, the Pokemon turned back into a stone. Chase stood staring at the rock until a shout snapped him out of his trance.

Chase looked up and saw Chris hanging from a piece of wreckage.

"A little help please!"
