"You stopped Team Plasma single handedly!" Sierra was amazed. Chris had been telling them about her adventures in the Dreamyard.

"No, a mysterious man helped me."

"Who was he?"

"I have no clue. He's a mysterious stranger for a reason."

"Well, what did he look like?"

"He had dark blue eyes and black hair. He looked just like you Chase!"

Chase wasn't listening. He was waiting for this story to end so they could visit the Nimbasa gym.

"What did you say?"

"I said the guy who helped me looked like a grown up version of you!"

"Oh, cool. Can we go to the gym now?"

"Believe me, I'd love to challenge it just as much as you!"

"Wait," Sierra said. "You beat the other gyms already?"

"Yeah. Why do you think it took so long to catch up with you?"

"Well, I thought-"

Chase interrupted abruptly. "Well all this catching up has been lovely but can we get to the point?"

"Well excuse me but I haven't had a girl to speak to in weeks!" Sierra told Chase. "The point is Team Plasma was able to steal a meteorite from the Nacrene gym. They plan to use three legendary dragons and the meteorite, and the global transmitters from the DreamController to control all the electricity on Earth. They plan to take control of the PCs and set all the Pokemon stored in them free."

"Wow. That's just- wow." Chris was shocked.

"Well, now that that's over with," Sierra said. "Let's go win a gym badge."

It didn't take long for the PokeChasers (and Chris) to reach the Nimbasa gym. Chris wasn't sure they were in the right place.

"Why would a gym be in the middle of an amusement park?" she asked.

"It's the perfect cover." Chase told her matter-of-factly.

When they entered the gym, Chris still wasn't convinced. As soon as she saw the neon lights and rollercoaster track, she asked

"Are you sure this isn't a ride?"

"Don't let the rollercoaster fool you. This is a very tough gym."

They all climbed into the rollercoaster and buckled in. After a thrilling series of loop-da-loops and hairpin turns, they reached the battlefield.

"Welcome!" called Elesa, the Nimbasa City gym leader. "I'm surprised you weren't fooled by the appearance of the gym."

Chase elbowed Chris.

"I've been studying Pokemon and the gyms since I was little. I can't be surprised."

Sierra snuck behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. Chase jumped.

"Very funny." He gave Sierra an 'I'll get you for that' look.

"Anyway," Elesa brought their attention back to her. "Who will battle me first?"

"I will." Sierra stepped up.

"Very well."

"I'll ref." Chase said. He had also studied how to referee Pokemon battles! He walked to the referee stand on the side of the field while Chris walked to the stands.

"This will be a one on one battle," Chase shouted. "You may use one Pokemon each and there is no time limit. Begin!"
