Jigglypuff

" Hey Gary. Your Electbire up to speed?" Ash asked.

" Yep. Ready when you are." Gary replied, crossing his arms.

" Then that's now!" Ash exclaimed.

" Toto!!"

" Quiiil!"

" Baaay!"

Ash turned to see his three Johto starters. " Hey guys. What's with the worried expression? My pokemon are okay, right?"

They gave him a look.

" What?"

" Bayleef?"

" Quiiil!"

" Totodile!"

" Pika?!"

Ash looked at Pikachu. " What's wrong, buddy?"

Pikachu just ran out with the other three

" Wait!" He yelped, running after. " Where are you going?!"

The others ( Tracey, Delia, Oak and Gary) followed.

The Pokemon ran out the lab, onto the ranch, and stopped at a large dip.

" Baaay!"

Ash blinked, peeking over the edge on the dip and gasped

His orange haired mermaid was out.

" Misty!" He yelped, sliding down the hill and to her side. " Pikachu, electric alarm clock!"

" Pika... CHUUUUUUUUU!"

Misty jumped awake.

" Hey!" She yelled. " What was that for you idiot!"

" Hey Misty." Ash said plainly as he sat on his knees, crossing his arms. " I thought you would know this is no time for a nap, but apparently you don't, since you were just asleep. Pikachu had to shock you so you would wake up."

Misty's eye twitched and she sat up. " Take that back!*

" Why?"

" Because I wasn't napping!"

" Oh yeah? Then explain why Pikachu had to shock you."

" Pika Pika pi!" Pikachu exclaimed, trying to ease the tension.

" Toto?"

Ash turned to see the three Pokemon had followed him.

" Thanks Totodile, Bayleef and Cindaquil. I can take it from here." Ash said, glaring at Misty.

Misty growled. " What are you even doing here?"

Ash raised a brow. " I thought you would know. But I guess you weren't here to see me back from Hoenn. Oh well."

Misty's eyes widened. " Oh yeah! That's why I'm here! Hi Ash!"

Ash gave her a plain look. ' really?"

Misty rolled her eyes. " Shut up "

" What were you even doing on the ground anyway?"

Misty's expression turned serious. " Remember Jigglypuff?"

Ash froze. " No "

" Yes."

" You can not be serious."

Misty sighed. " Unfortunately."

" But how?"

" Dunno."

" You don't think...."

Misty shrugged.

Meanwhile, the others were staring at the couple.

" Revolting." Gary muttered, crossing his arms. " Absolutely revolting."

Tracey was already sketching. " I think it's pretty."

" Young love." Delia sighed. " I can't wait to plan their wedding."

Ash turned to Misty with a bewildered look. "You’re telling me Jigglypuff’s back? The same one that put us to sleep a million times and vandalized our faces with a marker?"

Misty sighed deeply, brushing some dirt off her shorts. "Yes, that Jigglypuff. I was just passing by the ranch when I heard its obnoxious singing. I tried to run, but obviously, I didn’t make it." She pointed to the faint marker smudges on her cheek.

Ash groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Great, just great. I thought we were done with that nightmare. Why does this always happen to us?"

"Because we’re lucky, Ash," Misty replied sarcastically, crossing her arms. "Seriously, how have you survived all these days without me around to keep you in check?"

Ash scoffed, ignoring her jab. "Pikachu and I have been doing just fine, thank you very much." He turned to his electric partner. "Right, buddy?"

"Pika..." Pikachu hesitated, glancing nervously at Misty before nodding. "Pikachu!"

"Traitor," Misty muttered under her breath, smirking slightly.

Bayleef, Totodile, and Cyndaquil shuffled closer, each looking between Ash and Misty with a mix of curiosity and concern.

"Bay! Bayleef!" Bayleef called out, nudging Ash with her leaf as if to say, Stop arguing and focus!

"She’s right," Ash said, standing up and dusting off his jeans. "We need to figure out where Jigglypuff went before it causes more chaos."

Misty stood up too, brushing her hair back. "You mean before it sings half the ranch to sleep. Seriously, you’d think that Pokémon would’ve found a better hobby by now."

"Totodile!" Totodile chimed in enthusiastically, doing a little dance as if to lighten the mood.

Ash couldn’t help but chuckle. "At least you’re not stressed about it, Totodile."

Suddenly, Gary’s voice cut through the scene. "Hey, lovebirds, are you done bickering, or should we come back later?"

Ash and Misty froze, turning to see Gary, Tracey, Delia, and Professor Oak standing at the edge of the dip, all with varying expressions.

Misty’s cheeks turned a faint pink. "We’re not bickering!"

Ash shot Gary a glare. "And we’re not lovebirds!"

Gary smirked, folding his arms. "Sure you’re not. This is just how you two show affection, right?"

"Ugh, shut up, Gary," Ash groaned.

Tracey, meanwhile, was furiously sketching the scene in his notebook, capturing every moment with precision. "This is perfect. The tension, the emotion—it’s all here. You guys should argue more often!"

"Tracey, stop drawing us!" Misty snapped, her face flushing deeper.

Delia sighed dreamily, clasping her hands together. "Oh, young love. It’s so adorable. Don’t worry, kids—I’ll help plan the wedding when the time comes."

"Mom!" Ash shouted, his face turning red. "We’re not—this isn’t—ugh, never mind!"

Misty groaned, burying her face in her hands. "Why did I even come here?"

Professor Oak cleared his throat, stepping forward to calm the situation. "Now, now, let’s not tease them too much. It sounds like Jigglypuff might be nearby, and we should probably deal with that before things get out of hand."

"Thank you!" Ash exclaimed, grateful for the change of subject.

Misty nodded, composing herself. "Right. Let’s find Jigglypuff before it sings everyone on the ranch to sleep. Or worse—finds a new marker."

Ash turned to his Pokémon, determination lighting up his eyes. "Alright, guys. Let’s split up and search for Jigglypuff. If you find it, don’t engage. Just come back and let us know."

"Pika!" Pikachu saluted, already dashing off with Totodile, Bayleef, and Cyndaquil in tow.

As the group began their search, Gary lingered behind with a smirk. "You know, Ash, you and Misty make a great team. I’m just saying."

Ash rolled his eyes and marched off. "Just help find Jigglypuff, Gary!"

Misty, walking beside him, shook her head and muttered, "Revolting, huh? He’s got a lot of nerve."

Ash smirked slightly but didn’t say anything. For all the teasing and chaos, he was glad Misty was here. After all, with Jigglypuff on the loose, he’d need all the help he could get.

The ranch was a disaster zone. Pokémon lay sprawled across the fields, snoozing peacefully under the spell of Jigglypuff’s song. Tauros herds were snoring in unison, Muk was bubbling softly in its sleep, and even Bulbasaur—usually too grumpy to nap—was snoring so loudly it sounded like a jet engine.

"PIKA-CHUUUUUUU!" Pikachu yelled, letting loose a wave of electricity to wake them up.

One by one, the Pokémon twitched, yawned, and blinked awake, looking dazed and confused. But not everyone was grateful.

"PIKACHU, WATCH IT!" Misty yelled, rubbing her arm after accidentally getting shocked.

"Hey, don’t yell at Pikachu!" Ash shot back, glaring at her. "He’s just doing his job!"

"His job is not frying me!" Misty snapped.

"Maybe if you didn’t stand in the way, you wouldn’t get shocked!" Ash countered, crossing his arms.

"Excuse me?! Maybe if you weren’t so clueless all the time, Jigglypuff wouldn’t keep coming back to haunt us!"

"Clueless?! I’ve been handling this stuff for weeks without you!"

"Yeah, and look at where that’s gotten you—half the ranch is asleep, genius!"

"At least I’m trying to fix it! What are you doing besides complaining?"

"Complaining?!" Misty’s voice hit a high-pitched screech. "I’ve been dealing with you for years—that’s a full-time job in itself!"

"Well, no one asked you to show up and make it worse!"

"No one asked me?! You were literally yelling my name five minutes ago, you idiot!"

As they screamed at each other, Pikachu sighed heavily and went back to shocking more sleeping Pokémon awake.

"PIKA... CHUUUUUU!"

Delia, who had been watching from the edge of the ranch with Professor Oak and Gary, chuckled nervously. "Oh, those two. Always so passionate."

Gary smirked. "Passionate? More like obnoxious."

Professor Oak sighed. "They certainly have... energy."

Meanwhile, Bayleef and Totodile stood nearby, watching the chaos unfold.

"Bay bay," Bayleef muttered, shaking her head as Ash and Misty continued to argue.

"Totodile!" Totodile added cheerfully, clearly enjoying the drama.

Suddenly, Misty stomped forward, jabbing a finger at Ash’s chest. "You want to talk about making things worse? You’re the one who trained Pikachu to shock everything that moves!"

"Hey, Pikachu knows what he’s doing!" Ash said defensively.

"Oh really? Then why are we still arguing instead of catching Jigglypuff?!"

"Because you keep yelling at me!"

"No, I’m yelling at you because you’re an IDIOT!"

"Yeah? Well, you’re a—"

"PIKA... CHUUUUUUUU!"

Both Ash and Misty were blasted with a shockwave of electricity.

Ash groaned, smoke rising from his hair. "Pikachu! What was that for?!"

"Pika pika!" Pikachu pointed at the still-sleeping Pokémon and then at Jigglypuff, who was perched on a nearby hill, drawing on Snorlax’s face with its signature marker.

Misty, her hair frazzled from the shock, gritted her teeth. "Great. Not only am I electrocuted, but now Jigglypuff’s turning this place into an art gallery!"

Ash groaned and stood up, shaking off the static. "Fine! Let’s go catch Jigglypuff and stop arguing!"

"Finally, something we agree on!" Misty huffed, stomping after him.

As they ran off toward Jigglypuff, the others watched them go.

Gary smirked. "Yep, those two are definitely getting married someday."

Delia clasped her hands together, beaming. "I can’t wait to help plan the wedding!"

Professor Oak chuckled, watching the chaos unfold. "Ah, young love. It’s truly electrifying."
