ASH POV

today's just a really boring day at school. I got a detention for being caught skipping class by the principle. luckily, Gary got a detention too for sleeping in class, so here we are going home 3 hours late

"hey Ashy-Boy, ready to go home?" gary said. "sure" i agreed

when we were walking home...

"hey Ash, do you want to come to my house today? i got a really great game", "sorry gary, i already promised my mom to come home early today, i have to help her do the chores" i said. "ok then, look that's my house smell ya later Ashy-Boy" "Bye Gare-Bare, cya tommorow", "STOP CALLING ME THAT" he said then he ran into his house.

when i reached my house

"Shoot! i forgot to bring my house key" *DING*DONG* i hear the doorbell ring, after waiting for a few minutes i hear the door is openning, "Hello, you finnaly came home" said an unfamiliar voice, "who are you?" i ask politely, "sorry for the late introduction, the name's Grace i'm your neighbour", "oh that explains" i said then i came into the house

"HEY MOM!!! I'M HOME.....", "Oh, welcome home ash. i see you've met our neighbour" she says, "oh yeah, Grace has a daughter, go and meet her, she's playing upstair with Leaf" " ok mom" i said then i went to Leaf's room

after i reached Leaf's room i heard giggles in her room and decided to knock then entered her room. "hey leaf, what's your up to?" "hey ash" says a familiar voice. "S-s-serena? your our neighbour?" "haha, yeah how fortunate of us" she said "hi ash, come take a look at this!" leaf said "what's that?" i asked "its a photo album of our childhood at prof. Oak's summer camp" "Really?" i said as i got excited. 'Man i dont think she still have it, it's been so long' i think. "hehe you look so cute when you was a child ash" leaf said, "hehe i guess i do" i said "hey remember this? this is our photo at the first day! wow i look so cute" she said, "haha look that's gary holding his pink teddy bear" i said " *giggles* yeah when we try to take it he gets mad and almost cries" "LOL yeah" as i burst out laughing "that was very funny" i continued

after 10 minutes looking at the photo album

"hey who is this girl?" as i show them the picture 

"wow ash i cant believe you forgot who that was you both are inseparable when we were there" Leaf said "Hey ash" serena called "yeah?" "maybe now its a good time to show you this" as she shows me a blue handkerchief "Huh?" i mumbled getting confused "it's yours remember? the day you help me out of the forest you lend me this" then all came back to me

*flashback*

we were given a task to take care of a pokemon in a group of two. i teamed up with leaf to take care of a poliwag after a few minutes the poliwag slips my hand and ran away.

as i was looking for the poliwag i heard something rustles in the bush.

"poliwag?" i said then i saw something else on the ground, a girl crying, then i tried to speak to her

"hey are you alright?" then the girl made eye contact with me "the name's ash, who are you?" then i continued "what's wrong?" "i fell and hurt my knee" i start to search something in my pocket that can help and found a handkerchief in my pocket "this will help" i said as i wrapped my handkerchief on her knee "there all better" i said "it's no use i can't stand up" "don't give up till it's over 'kay? now come on" i said as i pull her up i guess i pull her  up too hard as we looks like in hugging position then she immidiately pulls away "there you stood" i said as i grin "let's get back to the camp the others must be worried sick"

*end of flashback*

"oh yeah i remember you now, you were the injured girl in the forest"i said "yeah but i never told you my name back then" she said "yeah, i can't believe that you still keep it till now thank you so much" 

after another 30 minutes of chit-chatting

"hey kids it's time to eat dinner!!!" my mom yells, "yeah coming mom" leaf said as we ran down to eat dinner
