The wind may howl,

and the ravens may shriek,

but in bed I shall lay,

staying fast asleep.

The alarm might sound,

and the child might cry,

but in blankets I stay

and in warmth I lie.

The dog might slobber all over my face,

and the mother in waiting might to and fro pace,

the sun might splash colors all over the sky!

but will I get up?
