"Sir, there are no unmated women at the Harvest Moon pack." My beta informs me, standing in the doorway of my office.

"No one?" He nods. "You're positive?"

"Yes." He replies and my heart sinks.

"What other packs do we have remaining to search in?"

"Just short of three, Alpha." He answers.

"Alright, I'll attend these visits along with you, I cannot sit any longer and wait." I tell him, feeling a bit anxious.

"But Alpha, you are needed here—"

"I am going tommorow, Maxil." I interrupt him.

"What about the problems with the rogue's at the border, sir?" He asks, quite worried.

"It will be handled, this is far more important, and those rogue's won't get past our warriors." I respond, my tone becoming clipped.

"As you wish, Alpha." Maxil aquiesed.

He leaves and shuts my door. I push my hands through my hair, feeling a bit stressed.

For over two years now, I've been needing my mate. For only this recent year have I been searching for her. Every pack on the north side has had no trace of who I need most and with only three packs left, I'm scared to find out just might where she be.

I can feel this ache in my heart, and I know it's her. I can feel she needs me just as much. I am curious as to if she can feel my yearning for her as well.
I am praying to the gods that she is safe, in a warm place, and waiting to be loved by her mate.
