A girl was walking distracted with a plate filled with variety of dishes, she was still deciding what to eat more and that's when she collides with someone.

She gasped as she spilled almost half of the dishes on him "I am so sorry.. Meine apko dekha nahi"

He smiles "it's alright, " She sighs in releif as he wasn't angry "ladkiyo ki adat hoti hai, galati karo fir innocent si shakal bana kar maafi mang lo... It's quite usual. Am use to it" He taunts.

Now she was fuming in anger "obey oye akad ki dukan.. Kis baat ka ghamand hai tujh mein haa. Shakal achi hai to kya sochte ho kuch bhi bologe to ladki sun legi...?".

" Haa... " He said shrugging his shoulder as if it's not a big deal.

She gapes at his audacity "tum. Tum.. Tum na"

"Bahot handsome hu....I know" He said smirking.

"Nahi... Ch*tiya ho... Wo bhi bahot bade wale" She blurts.

"Ouch... Teekhi mirchi" He was shocked at her language.

"Naina.. Tu yaha hai or me tujhe kaha kaha dhund rahi hu.. " She looks at them and realised. "Ye kya hua.. Tu fir bina dekhe chal rahi thi.. " She looks at him "am sorry on her behalf, wo abhi choti hai thodi bachkani harakatein karti hai"

"Didi.. Apko iss akdu se mafi mangne ki koi zarurat nahi apko pata hai isne kya kiya... "

"Naina.. It's alright apni galati man lene se koi chota nahi ho jata " Her sister said to end this argument.

"Magar didi meine sor.. "

"Dekha.. Kuch seekho apni behen se kitni suljhi hui hai wo.. Or ek tum.. Hari mirchi..wo bhi zeher me lipti... " He looks at her sister "by the way myself Rajveer, Dev ka dost" He introduced himself.

Before she could give her introduction Naina jumps in between "didi ap mujhe kisi kam se dhund rahi this na" She nodded in realisation "to chalo na.. Faltu ke logo se bat karke waqt kyu zahir kare... " She glares at rajveer "chalo" She drags her sister away.

He was left amused at her antics "teekhi mirchi.

"Simran jute kaha hai" Naina whispers.

"Teri Didi ke pas chupa ke ayi hu.. " She replies.

She slaps her forehead "pagal didi kyu! Wo bholi bhali hai unse koi bhi behla fusla ke jute le jayega.. Upar se aj kal wo na jane kiske khayalo me khoyi rehti hai...Idiot". She scolds her.

"To ab kya kare" She worriedly said "koi chupane ki jagah bhi to nahi hai".

Naina to wonders where to hide them then an idea stuck her "Mil gayi jagah".

" Kaha.. " She asked excitedly.

"Wo to tujhe bad me hi pata chalega" She smiles gleefully.

"Chalo chalo jeeju jeb dheeli karo, agar jutey wapas chahiye to" Friends and cousins of bride demanded.

"Theek hai ye lo.. " He was about give money when Rajveer stops him.

"Koi zarurat nahi" Everyone looks at him "jutey mere pas hai... " Boys from groom side hooted. "Agar fashion parade se dhyan hataya hota to pata chalta... Tumhari behen ke pas se ye jutey me utha laya" He taunts her showing shoe box.

"Shh.. Bharosa rakh mujh par" she silenced her "Mr. Akdu, puri shaadi me apni ego ke sath ye dabba leke ghumte rahe lekin ek bar bhi check ki isme jute hai... Ya nahi" She gives him sly smile.

Everyone looks at rajveer as he quickly checks the box and found it filled with pebbles, everyone laughs at him from brides side while groom's side just groaned.

"Kya rajveer udwa di na khilli".

"Are saali sahiba ab to jute wapas kar dijiye" Groom pleads.

"Na na na.. Pehle puri rakam fir jute" Naina was adamant.

"Acha thik hai" He sighs in defeat "varun laa purey paise de dey.. ".

"Are pagal ho gaya hai kya Dev.. Aise kaise de dey. Ye kuch bhi mangengi or hum de denge? " Rajveer protested.

"Agar tum logo ne apna kam thik se kiya hota na to ye naubat hi nahi ati.. Chal paise de ab usko".

"Are par check to kar le.. Inke pas jute hai bhi ya unhi hawa mein batein kar rahi hai" Rajveer looks at Naina suspicious.

"Na na.. Pehle paise fir jute" She adamantly said.

"Pehle jutey.. "

"Paise!/jute" They kept on going with this when groom decides to interrupt.

"Acha bas karo tum dono bahot hua, varun tu paise de mujhe aur naina tum jutey leke ao"

"But jeeju.. Pehle".

"You have my word naina.. Tum jute do mein paise dunga.. " He assures her.

"Thikk hai.. " She then looks at rajveer. "Chor jab chori karta hai na to pura sheher dhundega, lekin apni jeb nahi".

" Kya matlab hai tumhara" He asks getting offend.

She comes near him to take his bag from his hand and took out shoes from his bag. Everyone was left flabbergasted as she smiles in teasing manner.

"I hope ab is teekhi mirchi ka swaad apki zaban par apko hamesha yaad rahega" She shoves those shoes in his hand.

He was amazed at her cleverness as well as impressed. She is quite a thing, it will be interesting if she'll be in his life.

"Doctor sahab apse ek bat karni thi.. Thodi personal hai"

"Sure go on.. Bas ye mat puchiyega ki meri net worth kya hai" They laughed.

"Actually.. Verma's ki shaadi me meine aur Veena ne apki beti ko dekha tha badi hi pyaari hai.. Agar apko theek lage to mein apki beti ka rishta apne bade bete Rajveer ke liye chahunga.. " He proposed.

"Shekhawat sahab apke khandan se rishta kaun nahi rakhna chahega bas bat itni si hai ki.. Agar bacche khud ek bar mil le.. Unka opinion jan liya jaye.. Toh acha hoga" He suggested.

"Apki baat sahi hai, Rajveer ko to apki beti pasand hai infact usi ne ye rishta khud suggest kiya tha". Mr. Shekhwat said.

" Naina tere Baba agaye ja pani lekar aa" Ira said. "Aj der ho gayi apko ane me hospital se" She said Taking his bag.

He sat down "haa.. Aj office me Samar Shekhawat aya tha bas usi se bat karte zyada der ho gayi".

" Kya hua sab thik to hai.. Wo apse milne kyu aye..? " She asked worriedly.

"Haan sab thik hai, actually wo apne bete Rajveer ka rishta lekar aye the.. Hamari beti ke liye" Naina stops in her tracks hearing his name.

"Kya hamari beti ke liye.. Wo bhi itne bade log" She was shocked.

"Haan.. Rajveer ne Gudiya ko Verma's ki shaadi me dekha tha bas wahi usey hamari bitiya pasand agayi to rishte ki bat chal gayi.. "

"Fir apne kya kaha? " She asked impatiently.

"Kehna kya tha.. Meine bol diya.. Jaisa bacche chahe zindagi akhir unhe hi sath bitani hai.. " Naina puts water on table as his father pats her head lovingly.

"Ha ye bhi sahi hai.. Naina tujhe kya lagta hai?"

"Jaisa ap logo ko thik lage" She quickly went inside her room.

"Isey kya hua? " Ira wonders.

"Shaadi ki bat sun kar emotional ho gayi hogi.. Meri pagli" He smiles sadly.

She hugs her teddy bear "rajveer mujhse shaadi karna chahta hai..?? To isiliye usne uss din mujhse reception mein mujhse wo sab kaha".

Reception day

"Oye teekhi mirchi, suno to" He almost ran behind her.

"Teekhi mirchi bolte ho na to door raho warna jala kar bhasm kar dungi.. " She said still going away from him.

He caught her hand "mein tumhe bhagne hi nahi dunga.. Ab dekhna mein tumhare iss tikhe pan ko kaise control karta hu, aisa bandhunga tumhe ki fir bhag nahi paogi" He challenges.

"Kyu kar rahe ho mera picha.. Chhodo mujhe. " She was struggling.

"Umm Because i love challenges, tumhara picha to nahi chhod sakta kyunki mein ab tumhe apni life ka ek important hissa banane wala hu" He said with confidence.

"Din mein sapne dekhna band karo samjhe.. Mein tumhari life mein kabhi nahi ane wali. "

"Challenge... 1 mahine ke andar andar l will make sure ki tum meri zindagi ka hissa ho.. And an important one" He smirks.

"Ye matlab tha uska... Wo mujhe pasand karta hai" She felt goosebumps "agar aisa hi hai to itna arrogantly behave kyu kiya usne.. " She pouted "Mard jaat, koi nahi samajh sakta inhe" She laid down.

"Magar koi 10 min ki mulakat se apni zindagi ka faisla kaise le sakta hai... " She wonders then sits straight "kyu nahi le sakta.. Renu ne bhi to 10 saal date kiya tha.. Fir 6mahine ki shadi ke bad divorce bhi le liya..." She concluded.

"Kisi ko jan ne ke liye ek moment hi kafi hota hai... " She assures "waise.. Rajveer hai to bada hi handsome" She thought dreamily "me bhi kum thodi na hun... We'll make an awesome couple" She giggles.

"Arey rajveer beta ao, bas tumhara hi intezar tha" Her father said as he takes everyone's blessing.

"Naina zara Rajveer ko garden dikha la, agar usey thik lagta hai to engagement ka chhota sa function wahi kar lenge" Her father said.

She showed him garden while lost somewhere "Bola tha na, tumhe apni life ka hissa bana kar hi rahunga" He smirks looking at her, while she stood emotionless, something pinched her from within, it was eating her up. She never thought that life will take a turn like this and that too in a short span of time. She goes back in hall leaving him alone there.

"Chaliye sab muh meetha kijiye" Her mother distributes sweets "rishta judne ki bahot bahot badhayi ho".

"Apko bhi samdhan ji" Rajveer's mother said feeding her sweets.

"Ja naina, apni didi ko bula kar leya shaadi ki date fix kar lete hai.. Uska hona bhi zaruri hai.." She said.

"Do mahine bad ka mahurat shubh hai, usi mein shaadi ho jaye to acha rahega" Priest told them as everyone agreed.

"To taye raha Rajveer aur Sunaina ki shaadi do mahine baad hogi.. Or tab tak Sunaina ki internship bhi khatam ho jayegi.. Thik hai na Sunaina" Her mother asked her elder daughter as she nodded shyly.

"Naina beta, ab in do mahino me jee bhar le apni behen se kyunki uske bad to wo hamare ghar ki bahu ban jayegi, fir nahi milne wali tujhe teri didi" His mother joked as Naina gave them all a sad smile.

What a cruel game destiny played with her. The man she started to dream of, thinking to have a future with him as his wife.. Was going to be the husband of her dear sister. She misunderstood the alliance was for her but instead it was for her elder sister Sunaina, this man fell for her sister, not for her. She sighed with heavy heart. It's not like she has fallen deeply in love with him, it's just she started to think about him in different light, in a romantic manner.. Which is wrong now. He is going to be her sister's husband and her BIL soon, this is wrong.
