"Hey! You two love birds! Get up!"

I squinted open my eyes.

Yep still in the cell.

"I said up!" It was Zachery O'Neil

I sucked my teeth and scoffed.

"So your Jasmine's little wing man."

He grabbed my face. "Watch what you say to your step daddy."  he hissed.

"HEY! Get your hands off of her!" Vier shouted giving him a death glare that I've never seen before, it even scared me.

O'Neil however did not back down from a little kid's stare.

He matched it while slowly removing his hand from my face.

"I can't believe she married a skinny white dude like you." I smirked "I mean I hate her guts but I'm not blind to her looks, she really lowered her standards."

"Shut up!" He grabbed us by the arm and dragged us back to Jasmine's office.

He plopped us down in the chair and turned to her.

"She really is your child.."

"Don't you DARE! Compare me to HER!" I yelled

"It's ok O'Neil you can leave."

"Hmph." He gave one last look then left.

"So.... what do you propose I do to you with you? Hmm? You've discovered  one of the biggest drug operations in this state?" Jasmine poured herself a glass of water.

"So your going to oust me like you did my dad? Shot me without giving it a second thought." The anger clearly visible in my eyes.

"Of course not sweetheart....."

"DON'T CALL ME THAT!"

"Dawn.... You may think I'm a monster but I'm not going to shoot my own daughter."

"You may as well....." the tears welling up again "You killed the only family I had."

"Can't you just let us go?" Vier pleaded

"Now that's the problem see, I may not be able to shot me daughter but I can shoot you. And I will have to cuz you know too much..."

She pulled out a gun she had in her desk drawer.

I shot up. "NO! YOU WILL NOT TAKE BOTH MY DAD AND MY BEST FRIEND ON THE SAME DAY! NO!"
"I swear to you, I swear, off you let us go I won't breath a word of this to the police, please just don't kill him." The years turned into streams.

She looked at me, then she looked at Vier and she put the gun away."

"Ok fine, but if you ever mention this to anyone I will know and I will not hesitate to pull the trigger."

I felt relieved.

"Well sorry to cut this short but I have a drug ring to run."

Suddenly someone placed a cloth over my nose and mouth.

Chloroform

"Well baby girl I hope we meet under happier circumstances next time. And don't forget....I'm watching you."

"Where are we?" Was all I could say when I opened my eyes.

All I see is a road with endless desert on either side.

Vier turns eyes wide and says. "I don't know, but Toto I don't think we're in Kansas anymore."
