Me and John B stayed in that position last night until we fell asleep, just like that

JJ and Sarah wakes us up, they told us Kie and Popd are waiting for us at the dock

"Guys don't tie up!" JJ said as we all was walking fast towards them, John b was help Sarah walk

"We're dripping" JJ adds "what ?" Kie asks "wait why?" Pope asks

"What are you taking about?" Kie asks "where did you guys go? What happened last night?" John B asks Kie and Pope

"We slept on the break, what's up?" Pope asks

"Slept right, yeah. We were up all night. Some of us at least" he says looking at me and John B

"You can't possibly be the one that pissed at me" I says with a fake laugh, dead serious

"Rafe knows we're here so we have to leave like now" Sarah cuts off our fight

"Okay" Kie says as we all gets on the boat

Everyone was as talking in the front but I was ok the back of the boat, wanting a little bit of silent and then I saw Jay walking towards me.

"Hey, uh can we talk?" Jay asks me

"Not right now I am still angry at you and I would end up saying messed up shit"

"I don't understand" he says making me shake my head

"It was supposed to be coming from me not from you! The fact that you were there doesn't mean shit" I raise my voice and everyone was staring at me now

"What the hell happened last night" Pope asks

"So you hope I wasn't there?" Jay asks and now he is raising his voice

"Jesus it's not what I said! I am glad you were there but it's not making it right for you to tell everyone!" I said says

"I was worried about you!" He says

"Yeah that's the problem." I says, my voice was low and serious now

"Uh guys? We are pulling over come on keep fighting later" John B says

"If Rafe and Barry know it's only a matter of time" Kie says

"Before everyone knows" Pope says "I told you, we should've gone south, man" JJ says

"Just stop" John b says "why does no one ever listen?" JJ adds

"I get it! I get it, I understand" John B said

"I have an idea. With me back my dad would have to choose between me and Rafe" Sarah speaks making me, Kie and Pope look up

"Sarah, Sarah-" John B said "he's gonna choose me." Sarah says that in confident

"Just please listen. ward keeps lying to you Sarah" making Sarah lower her gaze

"He won't agree after all that's happened" Kie says "no I.. I know it sounds crazy" Sarah says

"Yeah it does" Kie replies

"I know! I but I owe it for Olivia" Sarah says making me look at her

"And he's my dad. And I know him, and I know he loves me. I am just asking for two hours" Sarah adds

Sarah says before she starts walking, heading to her dad.

"Sarah wait" I walks towards her, she stops walking and looks at me "are you sure?" I asks

She hum with a nod "yeah" she assures "okay then" I nods and pulls her to a hug

"Be careful and uh thank you for what you said earlier" I says as we hug

"I love you Liv" she says before she walks away

We were waiting for Sarah to come back, I was anxious

"Sarah!" I yells when we saw her on the boat coming back and we all ran towards her

"What happened?" John B asks

"So how's it go?" I asks when she came down the boat

"You guys were right. It didn't worked" she answers "I am so sorry" I hugs her

"Then that settle it guys. Now y'all need to load up in the paddy wagon and get the heck out of Dodge right now" JJ says

"Right, you'll need supplies and you'll have to split as soon as possible" Pope says

"Guys I think it's too late" Kie says as we hear siren wailing

"They followed you here?" John B asked asks Sarah "shit" I says as me and Sarah looks at each other

"We have to find another way out of here" Pope says "stay on the beach with your hands in the air!" We hear the cops

"Go!" Kie yells "go! Guys!" John B yells "run! Come on! Come on!" Pope yells

We were all panting as we ran as fast as we could while the officers were yelling indistinctly

"Freeze!" The officers keeps yelling, after a while we stops running and hides behind some trees

JJ is getting the gun ready as I feel Sarah holding my hand, noticing how anxious I was

"JJ no!" I whispers-yell as I see him bout to run out there, but before he could do anything John B holds his hand, grabs his gun and throw the gun to the floor

"It's gonna be alright" John B says. The cops are here at this point and screams some stuff

"Here we go" he says looking at me and Sarah

"John B!" Shoupe yells as John B was walking to the centre of where we were, revealing himself with raised hands

"Don't move!" The cops keeps yelling "don't hurt him!" I begs with tears

"Shut up!" Thomas shouts "stay right where you are. Keep your hand where we can see them." Shoupe yells

I see Thomas walking towards him with anger and I starts to panic

He grabs John b aggressively and starts to punch him

"Stop!" I shouts and tries to ran to him but Shoupe holds me

"Don't make me hurt you kid" he whispers "stop! Let him go!" Kie yells

"No!" Sarah yells "he didn't do anything!" I cries out and tries to get out of Shoupe's grip

"Sherif what is that? You're gonna let that happen?" I hear JJ yelling

Shoupe eventually walks towards Thomas and John B, starts to separate them, but Thomas shoves Shoupe

"This is for peterkin" Thomas says as he punch John B in the face

"No!" I shouts as everyone continues yelling

"John Booker Roughtledge, pursuant to the North Caroline statute section 14, you are charged with a murder in the first degree with aggravated circumstances. If convicted the maximum sentence would be the death penalty" the judge says at the court

My heart drops, my eyes started to filled with tears. I can't do that again, I can't lose him. I can't lose anyone any more than I already did

"Your honour he is 17!" I hear JJ yelling "quite" the judge says

"He didn't do shit!" I cries out "he's 17 are you kidding me? Hey, John B we're gonna figure it out" JJ says

"John B! John B!" Sarah says walking towards him "Sarah!" John B says as he looks at her, I see the pain in their eyes

"John b! No!" Sarah yells as some cop tries to separate them

"Stop! Don't touch her!" Kie yells and I grabs her hand to avoid the cops touch, me and John B shares a look before they takes him

He doesn't deserved that.

"Justice is served." I hear woman speaking "he had it coming" some other man says

"Shut up you shitheads Kooks!" I shout as Kie separates me and grab me

"Just don't" she says "It's not fair! Is this a joke? Like are we in hell?" I says

"I should have never come home." Sarah speaks

"They're gonna kill him guys" Jay says before we hear a man talking to Ward

"Sorry for what you and your family have gone through. Thank god the system works"

"Can you shut the fuck up already?" I shouts "of course you think the system worked because it was made to protect you and people like you!" Kie eventually agrees with me

"Hell have his day in court. A jury will decide" the man answers "he should not even be in court!" I shouts

"You should! Cause you're a murder!" Kie yells at Ward "you have a lot of nerve showing up to court" I says

"I know you upset, I understand you upset" Ward says "upset?" Kie repeats

"I know he's got you fooled" Ward says

"I'll get your fucking head fooled" I walks towards him about to smash his head but I feel pope and Jay grabbing me as the cops quickly gets involved and grabs me as well

"Get off her" Pope says

"Why don't you take the kooks down for a change?" JJ says

"You wanna get arrested? Get out. Go" Shoupe says as the cops leaves me "fuck you, you think I'd be thankful now?" I says as I pass through Shoupe

"Hey, watch your mouth" Shoupe says "this is bullshit" Kie says

"Come on. Look it's now worth it" Sarah says

"Sorry you should've be going through this" Plum, the cop says to ward

"It's not a coincidence that your daughter is sitting with us" Kie says making ward look at us before everyone split up and goes home

"Guys I am gonna head home I haven't been there in days" I says but it was kind of a lie, I didn't want to go with them to the chateau because I don't want to face Jay

"It's not the time to avoid me your friends" Jay says with an angry tone

"I don't want to right with you right now" I says "right, than leave. It's better to leave and get drunk right?" he says making everyone look at me as I shakes my head

"JJ what the fuck" I heard Sarah says "you know what? Fuck you, man" I walks away with tears

I feel like I've lost everything again.
JJ have been cruel to me, when I need him the most he is just cruel, it's like he isn't the same person.

He isn't Jay anymore.

And I get it, he's in pain because of the whole thing with John B. His best friend since 3rd grade might going to die, it's scary. But he shouldn't pull it on me

I walks into my house, thank for Frank's car wasn't there. I walks in and see my mother on the couch

"Olivia? Is it you?" She asks half passed put "uh... yeah" I says

"I thought you were dead" she chuckles "unfortunately I am not" I shrugs

"I saw your murder friend got arrested. About time" she adds

"He didn't do it and don't talk about him like that" I says making her walk towards me

"You've got a lot of nerve coming to my house and talk this you little shit. You are glad Frank is not here but he'll be back soon" she says before she walks to the couch and lays down, it looks like she passed out

"Mom?" I asks to assure she was passed out, no answer

I've noticed the drugs that were on the kitchen table, I thought about how the right amount of them can help me be gone from this horrible place.

I didn't want to be here with JJ hating me and John B dead, it's painful, I didn't want to feel this pain anymore.

I just want to disappear.

I was about to take some, but then I hear a male voice behind me

"You trying to steal from me?" Frank asks me, I didn't even realise he has arrived

"No I wasn't, I just-" I was about to say before I feel a punch in my stomach, my head hit the shelf that was behind me

"You really think I am that stupid?" He shout as he grabs hair from the back

"Stop it hurts!" I says "oh does it hurt?" He said and I nod shaking

He grabs my hair harder and let got by pushing me to the floor

"Does it hurt?" He repeats

My stomach was touching the floor, I turned my body around so I could face him and maybe protect myself and prevent a few punches

In those moments, I wish Peterkin was here. The most thing I am regretful is for lying to her about Frank coming back to town.

If I would have told her, maybe, just maybe, none of this would have happen right now.

"No! I am sorry okay I won't do it again please don't hurt me" I begs with tears as I see him getting closer to me

"I need to assure you won't fucking steal from so shut the fuck yo before the neighbours would call the police or it'll be worse" he says and throws a few punches at my face before my vision got blurry

I wakes up in my room, I was confused at first and then I see my mom was sitting on my bed

"Did you kicked him out?" I asks, I see she gas sympathy for me, she knows she is the reason for this

"I am sorry about this he is just though" she says with a shrug looking forwards

"So you didn't?" I asks again but she doesn't answered "I can't take it anymore" I says with tears

"Look I know but I need you here and you can't leave for days again, I need you" she says now looking at me

"You don't get to manipulate me, not anymore. I am going to the chateau and this is the last time you're gonna see me" I gets up, packing my clothes

"You can't leave your own mother!" She yells "I can if you prefers drugs over me" I says before she grabs my hand, I looks at her again "you selfish fuck" I let go of her grip

I walks down to the kitchen, steal some money and a few pills, just in case.

I walks to the chateau, with hope that JJ wouldn't be there but I just can't stay at my house anymore.

I walks in and see Kie "what are you doing here?" I asks

"What are you doing here? And who beat the shit out of you?" She asks

"My mom's boyfriend beat the shit out of me so I ran away, you?" I asks

"My mom kicked me out" Kie says "this would be a lot easier without parent right?" I quotes her, she nods

"Do you know where is JJ? We all got into a fight after what he said I thought he was going to apologise to you" she says

"He didn't" I shrugs  "I am sorry for what he said, it was messed up" she says

"Thank you" I says before Pope comes in

"Oh hey Liv, kie what are y'all doing back?" He asks us "what happened?" Pope asks as he notices my bruises

"Not everyone got Hayward as a parent" I says, I know how Hayward was a great father, I am joules of Pope honestly

"Wait what?" He asks "my mom snapped and I got booted" Kie answers

"I ran away because my moms boyfriend is an asshole" I says

"It's not that big of a deal. I am gonna stay here a couple days hang out with my friends" Kie says

"Woah" Pope says "I'll probably need some more than a few days but uh... yeah" I says

"You know, if you need a place to stay, you can always come stay with me because of the whole JJ situation, you too kie" He says, I nod

"Um... yeah uh how did things go with you?" Kie asks Pope as she sits down and I sits next to her

"Well.. pops was upset" Pope says as he sits next to me "upset ? After you left his truck in Charleston? What for?" Kie sarcastically asks

"Uh, you know, I'm actually trying to figure this out myself" Pope says, sarcastic as well

"But I'm I did ask him about the key and he said that his grandmother had something like that so I went over to great grandma's place and uh... I found this" he says as he raises a key

The key we needed to clear John B's name, the key that can save him.

"Holy shit" I says "oh my good" Kie says "yeah" Pope asks

"This is what we needed to get the evidence!" Kie ways "Pope! You did it!" I cheers

"I... I... I was right in the room, and it... it came out the ceiling!" Pope says

"Oh my god" I says "look at it" Pope says as he shows and pass me the key, I sits in the middle next to the both of them

"Is that writing what is that?" Kie asks "turn the lights off" Pope says

"Why?" Kie asks "just do it. Trust me" Pope answers

"Should I leave you two alone or...?" I says as Kie walks and turns the lights off

"Shut up and watch" Pope says as he brings a pillow and put it on his lap, Kie sits down

"I don't see anything" Kie says "right here done move" he says to me as the key was still in my hands

Pope turn the lights on and turns it to the key I am holding and puffs the pillow that is on his laps reviling sentence

"Holy shit" I says amazed "holy shit!" kie says in louder

"I know right?" Pope says excited "wait, do it again" Kie says, Pope reviles the sentence again

"Path to the tomb begins in the island room" I read "whatdoes that means?" Kie asks

"So I am pretty sure that it has something to do with Denmark Tanny and an angel. Cause I... I remember Lim.. Limbrey saying something about an angel and how the key led to the cross" he explains

"Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy fucking shit!" I repeats "Pope this is insane you are a freaking genius" Kie says

"Thank you" he says with a soft smile "kind of makes you wonder what island room is" kie says before she gets a text

"Hey, I got a text from JJ. He needs our help" Kie said "what happened?" Pope asks

"Uh I don't really know but come on let's go" she says

"Okay cmon" I says running to Kie's car, I am confused and worried

JJ doesn't usually ask for help, and it used to be me he asked for help from in the past year but I really don't know what's up with him lately

We are on the way, Kie and Pope are on the front and I sits on the back.

Kie is driving and we notices an ambulance, the ambulance JJ was driving in. Kie quickly pulls the car in the middle of the road without warning to make the ambulance stop driving

"Go! Get out of the way! Go!" Some officer that was in the driver seat in the ambulance shout at us

"Sorry!" I says with fake politeness "sorry! We're so sorry" kie says as well

"Get your car out of the road!" The police officer continues shouting

"She just got her license" Pope says "It was an accident"

"Move! Move your car now!" The police officer says as we see JJ running from the back of the ambulance, we moves the car

"Come on!" Pope says to JJ who was running towards us

"Go! Go! Go" JJ says as he gets in and sat next to me in the back seat

"Okay what the hell?" I asks "I am seriously not even gonna ask if I were you Liv" Kie says

"Look, I busted the wrong guy out of jail. Sue me" he answers "what?" I asks

"At least I was trying" he says, looking at me "that's not fair" I says

"Why are you always doing such stupid shit?" Kie asks, ignoring us

"Well I am going to end up in jail anyways so... why does it matter?" He says

"You okay man?" Pope asks "yeah. Just a doozy of a day" JJ says
