Y/n POV

Mitsuki stared at me, ". . . Excuse me? You want to what?"

Oh my lord, i'm about to just sink in the ground, "I'd like to ask Katsuki to marry me. If you'd let me."

Mitsuki stared off into space, thinking. Oh Jesus, i'm gonna puke.

"Okay."

"Well, I'd love your blessing, but I still would really lik-- wait, seriously?!" I smiled at her.

She smiled wide and gripped my shoulders with her hands, "of course! Did you think I was going to say 'no'?"

"Well I was worried you were going to! Oh this is great!" I pulled her into a hug and smiled into her collarbone.

"Thank you."

She kissed the top of my head, "I've known you for 5 years kid, and I've never seen him happier than when he's with you. I want to see him that happy for the rest of his life."

I closed my eyes, smiled even bigger, and squeezed her just a little more, "Thank you Mitsuki, I hope I can become part of your family."

"I have no doubt that you will, and you already are y/n. We love you."

I pulled back from the hug and wiped my eyes. Yes, I teared up! "Okay, I've gotta go formulate this shit now."

She laughed, "Go get that boy a nice ring."

"You bet it's gonna be nice. How else am I meant to win him back?"

Sne ruffled my hair, "You haven't lost him, you've only had a bit of a hiccup. You'll solve it."

"A hiccup is a bit of an understatement."

"Okay, go! Go and get him back."

I smiled, turned around and left the house.

Kirishima POV

I laid a blanket over a slumbering Bakugo. His soft snores echoed in the deafening silence. I looked down at him and smiled slightly. This poor boy. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water. Walking back to the living room, bottle in hand, I turned back around and grabbed my phone off the counter. I set the water bottle on the side table nearest Bakugo and sat on the couch opposite the one Bakugo was currently slumbering on.

A shrill ring erupted from my hand. I jumped slightly and quickly answered it, hoping to avoid waking the sleeping giant. I walked to the balcony that was attaches to the upscale apartment, and put the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Kirishima, I really need your help with something."

I was suprised that it was y/n, "Well okay."

"Can you find Katsuki for me? I just-- I'm worried."

"Okay," I looked through the glass sliding door that led inside, peering at Bakugo's sleeping figure, "Found him."

"Oh okay-- wait what? Is he there with you?" She asked. I could hear the slight panic in her voice.

"Yup."

She sighed, "So you know what's going on right now then."

"Yuuup."

"I want you to know that it isn't true. It's all a misunderstanding." She desperately tried to reason with me.

"Yuuuuup."

"Are you angry with me?" She was hesitant to ask the question. And for good reason.

"Of course I am! My best friend called me crying! You know him, you know how rarely he cries, and the only times is when it concerns you or an animal dying-- it was scary, y'know?"

I trembled with anger, "Then he shows up, red faced, tears, and a mess! This isn't the Bakugo I know, and it's your fault!"

It was silent for a moment, "I'm sorry. I didn't do anything though! I haven't seen him for about 5 months now, and he all of a sudden appeared on my doorstep, and with the worst timing imaginable! I was speechless, and I never thought a lack of words would be the reason everything came crashing down. Now, I didn't call to argue with you."

She took a deep breath, "I'm proposing to Katsuki."

I had a double take, "You're doing what?!"

"I'm proposing to him. I already have the rings, blessing, and all I need is your help. Can you do that?"

I just stared at the horizon that was soon going to have the sun lay to rest for the day, "Of couse I will. I may be angry with you, but you two are my best friends. We've all wanted this forever."

"We?" She asked quizzically.

I laughed, "Yeah, us. Mina, Sero, Kaminari, Tsuyu, and everyone else that we're still close with."

"I can't thank you enough. Okay, so, here's the plan."

Katsuki POV

I woke up snuggled into a blanket on a familiar couch. I'd bunked at Kirishima's a few times. I looked to see Kirishima shaking me from above. "Hey, we've gotta go. Get your ass up and let's go."

I frowned at him, "Geez, okay."

I sat up, stretching, and stood up. He smiled at me, and we left the apartment. The sun was just about to set, so I'd probably only been out for about 30 minutes to an hour. In Kirishima's car, we drove to. . . God knows where.

"Heh, Kiri, where are we going?"

"It's a suprise." He said 'suprise' like I was five. I frowned. I'm definitely NOT five.

He laughed at my expression, and just turned up the music in the car. We drove for a couple hours. Eventually I recognized the scenery and the town. This is where we all grew up. I watched as we passed by buildings that I'd spent 18 years around. I saw a few places that held alot of significance. UA, the coffee shop I first brought y/n too, the beach where I punched her, the hospital we've been in too many times, the park we constantly went to, even my childhood home that my parents still live in.

"I haven't been back here in about two years. It's crazy, I only live six hours away. Man, I haven't even seen my mom in two years."

"That's a travesty! I'm pretty sure your mom misses you!"

"I miss her too."

He smiled and parked on the side of the road. It's the park we'd passed earlier. "We've already passed here. Are you lost?"

He laughed, "No I just took the scenic route."

I shook my head at him, "Okay Kiri. Whatever you say."

He started towards the park, and I jogged a few steps to catch up to him. By now the sun was just about to dissapear on the horizon, and the world was bathed on a deep crimson red and orange. I stopped, pulling on Kirishima's sleeve to stop him. I pulled him over to a bench facing the horizon, and sat pulling him down too.

"What are w--"

"Shut up, and let me enjoy this."

I stared at the horizon, the sun setting very quickly, and I watched the night time lights flicker on at the park. The string lights strung between the poles flickered on as well, lighting the paths throughout the park. There's so many memories.

I stood, "Alright, Kiri, where are we goin?"

"Still a suprise Bakugo, so let's go."

We continued to walk through the park, and even passed people leaving, or even entering the park. "Man, why are we here?"

Kirishima glared at me, "It's a suprise. How many times to I have to say it?"

I glared, "Until I get an answer."

"Yeah, well now you're getting a blindfold."

"What?!"

I was suddenly blinded, and I felt him slip the blindfold over my head. I glared through the blindfold.

"I know you're glaring at me," he commented at me. I frowned, "Well, yeah!"

"Just shut up and let me lead you where we need to go."

I sighed, but let him lead me by the arm. After a couple minutes of stumbling and curses, we arrived. Or, at least, I think we did. We stopped, so I think we're there.

"Okay, we're here, but I'm gonna leave the blindfold on, okay?"

"No, not okay! What the hell is going on!?"

"Just shut up, and wait!"

I heard his footsteps retreating. I scuffled my foot in the dirt, still blindfolded I might add. It felt like forever, but probably wasn't very long, before I felt a hand grab mine. It was soft and small compared to mine. In other words, that's not Kirishima's hand.

"Uhhm! I'm not. . . who are. . . please let go of me!"

They pulled me forward a bit, and I felt my foot hit a wooden step. I'd rather not be dragged up what I'm assuming is stairs, and I stepped up about 3 or 4 steps before just walking forward on what seemed to be a wooden deck of some sort.

"Lady, I don't know who you are, so if you'd just kindly let go before I have to use force, that'd be nice."

The creak of wood startled me, "Take off your blindfold."

I reached behind my head, and, gosh, that voice is so god damn familiar. I pulled the blindfold off, and was momentarily blinded by the bright lights. I blinked a few times before  my eyes focused on the gazebo I stood on, and the girl in from of me.

I stared hard at the girl that was on one knee in front of me, a black box in hand, "Katsuki, i'm sorry for all the misunderstanding we had today, but I love you so much, and, I want to spend the rest of our lives together, so. . . Will you marry me?"

Our eyes connected, and I immediately knew my answer.
