Chapter 2: Looney Lovegood
Disclaimer: J.K. Rowling owns all Harry Potter related stuff, I only own the plot.
Harry is stubborn. All day he was knocking on the door, ringing the doorbell, or Screaming "DRACO!" at the top of his lungs. He even had Ginny come and help bang on my door.
***
"Draco! We know you're in there! Please come out so we can talk! I'm sorry!" Harry kept yelling.
"We want to make things right, Draco! For ten years ago, the war, today for banging on your door. Please come out!" Ginny had tried reasoning.
Well Harry, I am stubborn too. More stubborn than you. I live here, I don't have to go home if the cops are called. I don't have to find shelter if it starts to rain. I can blare music and not listen to your endless screaming.
***
That lasted all freaking day! I don't understand why they want me at their wedding so badly, I was a dick to both of them and all their friends all eight years of Hogwarts.
But they are more stubborn than I give them credit for.

I had just woken up and gotten dressed. I was walking to the kitchen for breakfast. It was 6:30 a.m.
There was a knock.
I froze. If he thinks he can start this early in the fucking morning when I'm trying to relax and enjoy a bowl of cereal then he's sadly mistaken.
I walked towards the door. "Harry! It's 6:30! Go HOME!" I yelled through the mahogany.
"Harry isn't here!" A female voice yelled.
It wasn't Ginny. I had gotten used to their voices yesterday with all their yelling. I think I have to check the front door for fist indents, they were knocking so loud. "Who is it?" I asked.
"Um...it's Pansy! From Hogwarts! We were both in Slytherin!" The voice instantly put on a fake accent.
I heard a male voice mumble, "Bloody hell Hermione, who would believe that!"
The female voice mumbled back, "Ronald Weasley, he might've if you hadn't said my name!"
I tore the door open. "She's right Ron, I didn't know it was you until you stupidly said her name. And Hermione, he's also right, who would believe that that was Pansy? She's much more annoying than that, you know." And I slammed the door in their faces, too.

June 22nd. I just have to outlast one more day of this annoyance and I'm free to living in peace once again.
11:38- no knocking.
12:43- no ringing.
2:12- no banging.
5:56- no screaming.
8:22- no anything.
11:46- silence.
They had given up. I had won. I was more stubborn than them. Is that a good thing?
Nevertheless, I didn't have to go to the wedding. I didn't have to sit in awkward silence when someone started talking about the war, or how I have been off the grid for ten years, or how mean I had been in my Hogwarts years. I could finally sleep peacefully.
Then there was a knock.
It wasn't like any of the other knocks. It wasn't demanding me to come answer. It wasn't hard or stressed. It wasn't a series of knocks.
It was just one, light, simple, quiet knock.
I started to panic. I waited for a second one to come, but it never did. That made me more intrigued. Was it Harry? Ginny? Hermione? Ron? Even George? Or Neville? Or Hagrid?
I stood from my chair silently and slowly. I walked carefully to the mahogany door. I turned the knob and gently opened it.
No one was there?
Then who knocked?
Did they go away?
I hope they went away.
I shut the door and turned around and screamed.
"Hello, Draco."
"HOW THE FUCK DID YOU GET IN HERE?!"
"You're back door is unlocked, I hope you know that. And please don't swear, that kind of language isn't nice."
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" I screamed again.
"Well I knocked on the door, no one answered so I walked around to see if there was a back door, or if you were outside and I did find a back door. I was lucky enough to find it unlocked, so I came in. I hope you don't mind, I don't normally do this but it's quite urgent."
Her long, blonde hair was so big it took up majority of her body. She dressed oddly ten years ago, but this outfit was better. A simple yellow dress. And no shoes? She carried a brown satchel with a stack of magazines sticking out. Looney Lovegood was standing in my house.
"What is so urgent that made you welcome yourself into my house?!"
"I was walking by and saw you had been a victim of vandalism, and I know you haven't been outside your house in ten years, so I assume you didn't know about it. The guilty wizard flew away on a broom stick before I could confront him."
Luna was so nice in the strangest of ways.
"What do you mean vandalism?"
"Well come outside, I'll show you." She started walking passed me, towards the door. I followed her. My heart was still beating in my throat.
We walked outside, to the edge of the garden, close to the gate that surrounds my estate. We turned to face my house and my jaw dropped. In neon green paint, my house read "June 23rd."
"Did Potter do this? Ginny? Hermione? Ron? Who, Luna, who?!" I grabbed her shoulders and shook her.
"Woah, Draco, calm down, it wasn't any of them. He had blond hair, that's all I know," she stared into my eyes.
I let go of her and looked at my house. Was it a warning? A threat? I didn't want to find out. "L-Luna?"
"Yes Draco?"
"Do you know where the wedding is tomorrow?"
Luna smiled. "Yes, of course I do. Are you going?"
"Why not?"
"Amazing Draco!" Luna smiled. "Will you escort me? It would look pretty foolish for us to go alone when the invitation says there will be dancing. Apart from the reason that I don't know how to get to Spain on my own."
"The wedding is in Spain?"
"Of course. So will you accompany me?"
Bloody hell, why not.
"Sure, Luna. I'll pick you up at 1:00."
