Chapters 59 & 60 Fall OF An Empire/ Push You Around

*James*

I've got to be honest, I didn't think Trisha would be the kind of person into things like me. Kinky things like being tied up.

Ok, well, that's tame, and we all know it, but Trisha always came off as so prim and proper. It's nice to see her let loose a little.

And tonight, she definitely let loose.  We had mind-blowing sex. She tied me right up to my bed. She edged me so many times that my ab muscles are actually sore from contracting so much. Then I turned around and did the same to her.

I could tell Trisha isn't used to being the submissive one by her nervous demeanor when I tied her up. But I soon made her forget all about any apprehension she first had once I had her writhing against my mouth.

We ended up having sex two times within the hour. Do you know how hard it is for a male to have back to back orgasms like that? That has only happened for me with Julia. But Trisha brought me to my breaking point twice, and it felt amazing.

It's well after midnight, and we have been "sleeping" for over 45 minutes. Well, I thought Trisha was sleeping.  Apparently, not because she eventually left my bed and went back to her room.

When I got up to use the bathroom later on, I noticed Trisha didn't go back to get bed, she went to Nate's bed.

Trisha is just as bad as I am with Julia.  Maybe her and Nate should be a couple so I can finally have Julia to myself.

But no, that won't happen. Julia is just as in love with Nate as I am with her. That will never change.

James tired me out physically. Mentally my brain won't turn off. It didn't help halfway into sex with James Nate swears and throws a pillow at the door.

"Is that you throwing pillows at the door, Mr. Hollan?"  I whisper as I walk into Nate's dark room.

"Yeah. New rule. No more sex in my house unless it's with me."

"You're funny. I'm using your shower."

"Of course you are...." He puts a pillow over his face and groans. I quietly take a quick shower in his bathroom and throw back on the long t-shirt I was wearing earlier.

"Fucking hell." I hear Nate's British accent grumble.

I turn off the bathroom light before opening the door.

"You're STILL awake?!" I walk out and plop onto the bed.

"Yeah, you're asking for trouble if you think you're gonna lay in here, angel." He groans from under the pillow. Nate's having a hard time falling asleep. He can't afford to not sleep. His life is too busy and stressful for insomnia.

"You're moody tonight." I climb under the covers and lay next to Nate.

"I'm pretty sure you're in the wrong bed, Goldilocks."

"What...I can no longer hang with my best friend, now?" I smirk in the darkness, but Nate can see my reaction just fine.

Just like I can see his sexual frustration under the covers just fine.

"Not after midnight with me sporting a hard on, princess." He says from under the pillow.

I move in closer, and my fingers gently touch his raging hard on over his underwear. Nate's breath hitches making me know he needs relief.

"Jesus Christ, Playboy. Take care of that monster." I chuckle, but my fingers continue teasing him with my touch.

"I tried. No luck. Take care of it for me." He says in almost a whisper.

"You're cute, but I'm with James, remember?"  My breath hits Nate's neck and his erection twitches against my fingers.

"You mean the man in love with Moretti?"

"Yeah, that guy." I sigh, obviously aware of the truth.

"Did you remember to untie him when you were done with him, or is he still bound up like a prisoner in there?"

"Oh, I tied him up all right. He loves it. But yes, I let him free. He's passed out."

"So, you've come to torture me?"

I removed the pillow from his face, and he cocks a brow at me.

"Trish, seriously. What are you doing?"

"I'm wide awake and there's no way you will get any sleep with that hard on." I begin kissing Nate's neck while stroking him over the thin fabric of his boxers before lowering myself down to his stomach. Nate wastes no time pushing down his underwear to release himself from the tight confinement. I tease him for a few seconds with my lips but know it's late and he's tired. He just needs his own release. The moment I take him into my mouth a loud guttural groan comes from Nate.  He needs this.  I'm willing to give it to him.

Moretti will be in the Avalon probably forever at this rate.

I can be the one here for Nate. I will also be the one to relieve all his tension for him. He may never choose me and that's fine. But I can remind him constantly of his bad decision. I'll be the one to help him fall asleep and I'll be the one he thinks of when he drifts off.

"Fuck, you're so good to me." Nate groans.

He's getting close already, so I take him in deep down my throat and move faster. Within only a few minutes, Nate comes undone, and I swallow him whole, making him moan and groan the whole time.

"Holy shit, Trish." His muscles relax into the mattress, and he lets out a sigh of relief which makes me laugh.

I crawl back up and rest my head on his chest, melting into him when he wraps his arm around me and closes his eyes.

"Can I ask why you did that for me, for real, doll?" Nate asks right as he drifts off to sleep. I wait until his breathing is steady and deep before I answer.

I study the man's sleeping face and gently kiss his lips.

"Because I love you."

It's Casey who gets me up and ready for the day. Once I'm in the living room and see Trisha on the phone and pacing, I realize why. Something's up.  Trisha is cleaning up some kind of media mess for Hollan.

"What's going on?" I sit down on the couch and the dog hops up on my lap.

"Mornin' Mags." I scruff up her ears and glance at the TV that Jonah is staring at in disbelief.

You've got to be shitting me.

Nate, his little sister and Julia are all over the news. Cara's private life has been purposely kept a secret from the public with a lot of hard work on Nate's end.  Until today.

Not only that, but the media is also hashing up old stuff from Julia's past again. The kind of stuff Julia is trying to overcome and forget.

"Christ. I'm gonna have to go check on Moretti soon." Paul sips his coffee in disgust while watching the news.

"They seriously spend all their time digging shit up on the Hollan family. No one else is on TV as much as Nate and Julia." Jonah says.

"Does Nate know what's happening?" I ask.

"No. He's still sleeping."

Shit. The guy can't catch a break. He's going to wake up to find out the world now knows his little sister is at the Avalon. He's tried so hard to keep Cara out of the limelight and now his life is being exposed. Right as I think that, Nate comes out of his bedroom, clearly distraught, holding his phone. He looks over to see Trisha on the phone pacing and then his eyes travel to the TV. An old picture of Nate and his sister is shown as reporters dish out the news. I feel bad for the guy. If I were in his shoes and one of my sisters were on the tv being talked about, I'd be furious.

Tears stream down Nate's face which makes me feel even worse for him. He stands in the middle of the room, almost in shock, while watching the news. We all look away from him now out of respect.

"Fuck." Nate says under his breath. He puts a hand on his chest and squeezes his eyes shut for a brief moment. He must be having chest pains. The stress of Nate's life is going to kill him one of these days.

No one knows what to say.

It's Paul, of all people, to finally speak.

"We're going to need extra bodyguards around the Avalon. This may get bigger than what we had to deal with at the hospital. I'm calling Evan and rounding men up then going to stay with Julia." Paul announces as he stands up and puts a hand on Nate's shoulder.  "I'm sorry, Nate. I know how hard you tried to keep Cara out of the public eye. I have a feeling your mother may have been behind this one."

"Fuck." Nate repeats. Paul quickly leaves the apartment knowing he has his work cut out for him today.

"Nate." Trisha is off the phone now. "Go jump in the shower. Elliott is setting up a press conference. Hurry." No good morning, no breakfast. Nothing. We watch him rush back to his room and Trisha follows behind. This is Nate's life. No wonder he has heart attacks.

I also feel bad for Trisha. She looks so stressed. Never mind her usual workload, now she has to deaql with this on top of it. And I'm sure she feels awful for her best friend having to go through this. I'm sure Trisha had a part in keeping Cara's name out of the news these last few years.

If Paul is right, what a terrible mother Rita Hollan is. I knew she had issues, but this crosses the line. Why would she go and let people know her daughter is in a mental health facility?  She had to of known this was not meant to be advertised. Is she doing this out of spite? To get back at her kids for something? Does she realize this affects Julia as well or is that why she is doing this? Maybe she isn't a fan of Julia's, and this is one way to hurt her. If that's the case, I guarantee it will work.

"What's going to happen?" I look over to Jonah or Casey for answers. Casey hasn't a clue but Jonah lets out a sigh.

"Fans and reporters are going to start showing up at The Avalon now.  The place is going to be a zoo." Jonah explains. "This is NOT good. What a way to wake up in the morning."

"I'll get your breakfast ready, James." Casey says.

"Wait. I should go see Julia. She's going to need someone to be there with her."

"First, breakfast, ok?" Jonah pats my knee and turns back to the TV.

Not twenty minutes later and Nate is out of the shower, wearing a suit and tie, ready for the press conference. His eyes are red and tears still stream down his face.

"Hey. Look at me." Trisha pulls him aside and straightens his tie as he watches the news. "Don't let em' push you around, ok? You say nothing. Let Elliott do all the talking. Hey." She physically turns his face to look down at her. "Show no emotion. Give them nothing."

But Nate can't stop crying. I've actually never witnessed him cry like this. His sister is everything to him and his emotions are getting the best out of the man.

"Do you want an anxiety pill before you leave, Nate?" Jonah looks over at Nate with sympathy. He nods and Trisha wipes his tears with a tissue. As much as I know her and I are together, I also know how much she wants to be with Nate.  Seeing him hurting is killing her.

"I can't believe she did this. Rita is ruthless." Trisha frowns. I watch Julia's life told on the TV like a fricken documentary of all the bad things that have happened to her and shakes my head.

"They always have to rehash her shit every time you're on the news?"

"It's just what they do. It makes the story that much more appealing." Trisha answers.

"These are people's lives though! Their personal, private lives!"

"It's just what they do."

*Trisha*

I'm going to murder Rita Hollan. Plain and simple. This whole thing has her name written all over it. Anything to get a rise out of Nate.

"Hey." I take Nate's hand as Ren drives us to The Avalon. Security will meet us once we get in and escort Nate to his meeting with his publicist and the director of the Avalon. Because this crazy place is going to get crazy real fast. Pun intended. "You, ok?"

"Yeah. Listen, I want to check in with Julia and Cara first. Before the press conference, ok?" He looks over at me with his sad blue eyes. He's no longer crying. The anxiety medication helped with that. But he is heartbroken for his sister.

"Of course."

When we pull up at the Avalon gates, we see it's already chaos outside. Reporters, news vans and cameramen are lined up waiting for a glimpse of Nate. Nothing in his life is private.

"Shit. Ok Ren, you know where to go. Just. God, just don't hit anyone." I say as people swarm the tinted window SUV.

"Yes ma'am."

I look over at the entrance and see Evan already waiting for us. Like Paul, he's dressed in his bodyguard uniform, suit and tie, with his earpiece in, ready to work. He stands by the door with his arms crossed over his chest and when he sees the SUV pulling up, he signals for two other men to stand near the car.

Nate kisses my cheek quickly and gets out of the car. Evan whisks him away and I let out a breath I was apparently holding before climbing out of the back seat.

"Miss Banks, right this way." A bodyguard takes my arm and leads me inside. God I hate this place. I hate all hospitals. I don't care how luxurious you make this place it's still a hospital.

"Trisha." I turn to see Nate's publicist signaling me to follow him down a hall. I head that way, and my shadow of a bodyguard follows me.

Like me, Elliott talks and walks fast. The man holds a binder like he's already prepared for this shit as he leads me into a room. Richard is sitting down in a small conference room with his own personal assistant by his side, ready to take notes. My hands are now clammy, and I try not to show how nervous I am in Richard's presence as I sit down.

"This is not how I wanted to start my morning." Richard says, displeased. Is he fucking for real right now? How the hell does this affect HIM in anyway? Bad publicity? C'mon pal. This is Nate's life we're dealing with. How do you think HE feels?

Obviously, I don't say that.

Instead, I say good morning and we get right to work.

*****

Elliott holds a short press conference right outside the Avalon gates, but Nate will need to say a few words at some point today. His statement will satisfy the reporters and hopefully they can move on to something more exciting than finding out America's Heartthrob's family is a shitshow.

"Ok. Trisha, find Nate. I want to go over a few things with him before I leave." Elliott says in a flustered manner after the conference.

"Yes sir." I leave the room but have no fucking clue where I'm going.  Panic sets in and I think my bodyguard can tell.

"Um. He's probably in Julia's room. I have no idea where that is." I look back at the man who just shrugs. A heavyset dark woman in scrubs walks by me and I grab her attention.

"Sorry, scuze me. Julia Moretti's room? Can you tell me where that is?"

The nurse eyes me like I'm wasting her time, huffs and pivots without saying a word. I follow her to where she just came from and she leads me to a room. To my surprised a very distraught James and Jonah are in her room. But no Nate.

"Hey.." I say almost as a question as James stands up and pecks my lips.

"You guys rushed out and Nate forgot to take his heart medication." Jonah begins. "And this one wouldn't calm down until someone took him to see Julia.

"They're displaying her whole life on tv now!" James furrows his brows and looks down at me. My shoulders drop seeing how upset James is over this and I sometimes forget his brain is still healing. Sometimes James can't process emotions very well and gives everyone a hard time cooperating at home. He must have been giving Casey and Jonah a hard time with breakfast.

"Have you seen her yet?" I put my hand on his cheek, and he frowns, shaking his head no.

"Listen, when you find Nate, can you give him these pills? He really needs to take them. Especially today of all days." Jonah hands me four different colored pills and I give him a slight nod.

"I'll go find him now."

I know where he will be now. With Cara. I flag down another nurse to lead the way but once we are at Cara's room, she's not there. It's just Nate and Julia sitting on Cara's bed.

"There you are." I huff in irritation. "I've been looking everywhere for you. Elliott just had the live press conference and wants to have as little meeting with us to go over the next steps. Jeremy is letting us use his office." I hold out Nate's pills. "Jonah came with all your medications. You forgot to take them this morning."

"Yeah, ok." Nate stands up and takes the pills. I look at Julia and the first thing I notice is she is back to wearing that damn engagement ring. Did Nate really fucking take that thing out of the safe this morning to bring here? The Avalon of all places?!

"She can't wear that in here!" I blurt out.

"Sure, she can. People wear engagement rings all the time."

"Not two fucking million-dollar engagement rings! How the hell are you even going to get married. I thought we were over this. She signed up to be a full time resident here!"

Jesus Christ. This is not the time to be declaring fucking love to each other! Nate has bigger things to worry about today. Like how the hell we are going to contain the ever-growing crowd of fans out front.

"Can I have a word with you?" Nate looks at me sternly and storms out of the room.

"Nate..."

"God damn it Trisha. Not one word. Not until we are in a room." He doesn't look at me as we speedwalk down the hall.

Shit.

I should have never said anything about that damn ring.

*James*

Ok. Yes, I may have given Jonah and Casey a hard time. Yes, I may have let my emotions get the best of me. I'm aware of that now after the fact. I'm just worried about Julia. She is all over the news and the internet.

I patiently wait for Julia in her room, haven't a clue where she is.

"You're being such a good girl, Mags." I look down at my dog and smile. Maggie doesn't give me the time of day. She waits by the door until it opens and when it does, she is all over Julia. Which means, Julia is stressed.

"Hey babe, it's a zoo out there." I pull Julia in for a hug and don't let go. She buries her head in my chest.

"Why are you here?" Paul asks.

"Well, I came because Nate forgot to take his medications this morning. He was so distraught over everything going on." Jonah says and turns to Julia. "I also came here so James could see you. He's been pretty upset and worried about you with your life all over the news again. I couldn't calm him down until I gave in and said we'd come here." He sighs tiredly.

"I just wanted to see you." I mumble against Julia's ear while she continues to hug me.

"This place is in lockdown." An unfamiliar bodyguard announces to Paul who furrows his brows.

"What the hell are you talking about, Adam?" Paul knows the tall black handsome man.

"A couple of fans tried to get into the facility. Unsure if they know Hollan is here or are coming to spot his sister, but it's complete chaos. Cops are calling for more backup to line the perimeter.

"It's a gated facility!" Julia bursts. "How are people finding ways in?!"

"People find ways." The bodyguard, Adam, shrugs. "Everyone seems to be very intrigued on Nate Hollan's sister now."

"Shit. So no one in or out? For how long??" Jonah asks nervously.

"Until things die down."

"Jesus. Good thing I brought this." Jonah holds up his medical bag. It has everyone's prescription medicine in it. He took it here to give Nate his pills instead of fishing through it to find the bottles ahead of time.

"So, we're stuck?! I have a friggen dog! She's going to need to go out and need to eat." I let go of Julia and look at Paul with concern. This is really happening.

Shit, nevermind Maggie, Trisha is NOT going to do well in a lockdown here.
