Overtaking the ground,

It leaves rivers icy all around

Sending shivers down your spine,

"Let's stay in, cuddle up, and unwind"

It's just that time of year,

When Jack Frost begins to nibble at your ear

"Come here, come quick!

"Look at it fall, my goodness it's starting to stick

Put on your scarf, your coat, and your hat

Let's have a fight or two, or something like that

So we run and we hide,

For soon we must go in and go to sleep, because that is a rule we must abide

We put on our pajamas, tuck ourselves in,

and as we wait to fall asleep we listen

All throughout the house the lights shine outside, oh look at it glisten
