A Touch of Class

An icy gaze from you can leave me frozen, Josie, you are not the ice queen, and

Too young, to be so terse

Our friendship, is still too early, to be acting as if we are old and grumpy

Untested by the rigour mortice of time

Come on, let's go to see the Christmas lights, for like you they are a delight

Hold my hand, whilst we walk down the decorated Main Street

Oh look at that, there's something missing from the tree, an angel as pretty as you, so

For a short time, let's enjoy some freedom from the gloom

Can you feel the energy radiating from the stars

Lighting up the world for us on Christmas Eve, allowing

All our secret wishes to come true

She turns to Jhonny smiling

Shush , be quiet, can't you hear the sleigh bells ringing, and softly pecks him on the lips

Footnote:  This poem is gifted to Anna (ARCase), as a tribute to Jhonny and Josie's flickering relationship, which I think we have tried to ignite, but the fuse sure isn't getting any shorter.
