She was born to
Dance-
Like the Earth
Spinning around and around the
Sun-
Perfectly splitting
Day from night,
Shadows from light.

She dances like
The wind
In the treetops,
The leaves jumping and
Shivering
At her touch.

She dances like
Blazing fire-
Refined,
Powerful,
And pure.

She dances like a drop of
Rain-
Falling softly into
The wild sea.

She was born to dance
By design, and not by chance.

I count myself as blessed-
because she danced
With me.
