Oddwind
I call your name through the gates
And yet I hear no answer
The wind starts to blow odd
out in the desert
And quenching the soul is scarcer.
My breathing steadies with the breeze
which is growing ever stronger.
Something to ponder
something to wonder.
I enter the town of Oddwind with nothing to lose
and the streets are lifeless
nobody moves.
I cry out for help
and yet I hear no answer
'cause my heart is a ghost town.
Wanted signs out on the streets
Ravens flying up in fleets
Gates rattling in despair
this whole town looks like a nightmare.
Calling your name on these empty roads
And there is no answer
There is no sound
Because my heart is a ghost town.
