Super-human

I had a dream one day,
A dream of the woman of woman,
Goddess of Goddesses, mother of the world,

Excited was I,
Lucky to see her,
But in my dream I couldn't find her,
Where was she? She promised!

Stuck in a labyrinth, dark and dingy,
Cold and empty, no soul nor person,
Scary and intimidating,
Yet still venturing forth,
To find an ugly creature staring at me, Smiling warmly - arg the irony!

I shuddered with disgust, disappointment on my face.
"You're not her!"
"Can you blame me?" voice contrary to her case.

No! No! You're Ugly!
"You have scars and welts"
"I stood up for myself"

"You're haggard and old"
"I've only lived for eons"
Lies, all lies! Majestical and divine?
A sham is what she is!

"You're hunched! Its hideous!"
"Its the load on me"
"You smell, you stink!"
"The stench of tolerance"

"Your virtue is absent, wheres your youth!?"
"Stolen and harrassed"
"You have a squint black eye, ew!"
"Eyes speak of horror done by the likes of you"

Horror is what she was,
Welcoming me was a demon,
Where is the mother I was promised?
Soft and beautiful,
Virtuous and strong.

Panicking I looked around, and there she was,
Out was the beauty of a Goddess.
Divinity, indescribable,
And yet... her dissapointment palpable.

"Where, were you all this time"
"Stuck in the throngs of your crime"
She removed her veil,
Once again replaced by the ugly hag.

"This isn't what you promised us men!"
I screamed at the old bag
A sudden voice rang vicious; cold,
"This isn't how you treat us women!"
