Rage bubbling
Beneath a calm surface
Like a boiling pot.

Wars being waged
Behind closed doors
With no one to witness.

Innocent triggers
Causing unforeseen outbursts,
Unleashing all hell.

"Just a side effect
To having red hair."

"Hot-headedness is a sign,
A sign of anger issues."

Could they ever notice
The internal struggle,
The inner battle
Of self-loathing?
