"Quit while you're ahead,"
They say,
"It's the wise path to choose."

If what you do is rewarding
And you're passionate about it,
Quitting shouldn't even be an option,
For it is vital to power through
Until you reach the end.

If you run a race,
And quit while you're in first,
You lose by forfeiting the win.

Keep reaching for your goals,
And even when you have reached them,
Don't stop setting your sights further
Until you are entirely satisfied
With your achievements.

Only quit for a moment,
If you have to,
If you've had enough
Because it's too much
And you want a break.

Quitting isn't for losers,
As it is important
In finding your true passion.

But never stop
In the pursuit
Of your dreams.

If someone were to ask you
To a match of boxing,
A sport that you love to do,
Would you back down
Just because it seems too challenging?

It's called a challenge
For a reason,
So raise those gloves
And fight.

And this is definitely a misinterpretation of the phrase "quit while you're ahead."
