A loss of thoughts,
An inability to process.

Sudden fear of being blind,
Pinpricks blur and dance,
Loss of mind.

Extreme worry,
Sense of helplessness,
Lack of concentration,
Losing consciousness,
Falling,

And then

Darkness.

Yet the brain continues
Its trick-playing.

Hearing muffled voices,
An acute sense of alarm,
Total panic of others,
No inkling of harm,
While total calmness takes over.

Wondering if there's been an accident,
If someone is in danger
To cause such mayhem.

Being frozen in place
With any last remaining energy
Draining as the time ticks by,
Until

Nothing.

...and then shit gets awkward when you wake up several minutes later.

My lame attempt at describing the feeling of gradual fainting due to a sudden drop in b-l-o-o-d pressure.
