One second occurs.

From a minute of revision,
Hours of preparing,
Days of dreading,
Weeks of pondering,
Months of wondering,
And a lifetime of overthinking.

That one second is second-guessed.

That one second doesn't occur.

Though that one possibility is never forgotten,
As it will forever be on replay,
One second causes too much analysis.

The thoughts will appear nonetheless,
But that one second will never happen.
