WALK ME HOME

Your smile takes me back to a better time
Brushing off the cold fingers of mine

Memories gave me a light of happiness
You could take me out from the darkness

Trying to stand up from my own feet
Finding a clear path in these streets

There's nothing left for me to fear
In the arms of safety, you are here

Unknown paths and danger was trace
Boy its late, we should leave this place

We're both trapped in the web of madness
Untangling our way out in the huge mess

Dancing in the dark with the shadows
While hearing our heartbeats by flow

Our bodies would shine above these stars
For euphoria painted our wounded scars

Something the way you look at my eyes
Lifting me up high into the starry skies

Drinking the bottle of blissful ecstasies
We swirled in the galaxy of fantasies

We shared our silver jar of pain
Together we would break this chain

Strength of love would break us free
For you have a strong faith in me

We would escape our way out alive
Passing in the sea of sharp knives

Your delicate hands hold me so tight
Feeling your warmth through the night

Crossing together in the boundary lines
By stepping out in the fake cloud nine

In the dead of the night, I was not alone
And darling could you walk me home?

A/N: After I watched the music video of Pink's song entitled 'WALK ME HOME' 

It inspired me to write a rhyme poetry about it. It's like your dancing alone with the shadows through the dead in the night. Which is really awesome. Sometimes darkness could be fun and exciting because it's where you could be free from the arms of bitter reality and embracing the darkness with a heart. ❤️
