It makes me think of you.

I stop walking.
The grass seems to grow taller than me.
I stop the music,
Yank out my earbuds,
And stare off into nothing.

I should have stopped you,
I should have told you how much you meant to me.
Instead I hung up,
Making it the end of us.
I should have begged you,
Made you come back with my poetic ways.
