Sailing Into The Storm- T.D. Torquill

Lightning conjures
Swallows man's pride
Thunder booms
Man takes big stride
Witches scream, clouds of smoke
A pirate's captain, who's  an old bloke
Standing still, the waves are
The sailors all went broke
"Over yonder!" One pirate screams
"Lo, what can it be?" The Captain seems?
The pirates scurry, flee and hide
A hurricane tumbled through
Striking st the men's pride
"You call yourselves pirates?" The hurricane taunted.
"Yes!" They all screamed,
"But you can't  avoid this!" The hurricane yelled!
It swooshed, it spun, and it tore the pirate's boat down.
Though, they served the King's  crown!
Still the hurricane battled these pirates,
The hurricane attacked the sails- made of hide
It still didn't  take down these pirate's pride!
"You were no match!" The captain yelled.
Lo, the crew cheered.
There was nothing now, that they feared!
