A/N: hello everyone, so this is a poem about this girl that I liked and self discovery, and how I found out I was Bi. Which now I'm pretty sure I'm Pan, but you know, oh well. I performed this at the same open mic night as the last one. I hope you enjoy:). Oh and please remember to comment, vote and follow if you like!

I've only ever felt this way about one person,
About you.
You were perfect in all the most imperfect ways.
You were my best friend.
You cared about all these little things in such charming ways.
And I just remember sitting on my trampoline with this beautiful sunset being me, and I thought, "this is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."
But then I realized all I was looking at was you.
I smiled and the kids on the corners of my mouth played hopscotch and you laughed as the ones on yours flew kites, and I just loved the idea of yours meeting mine.
But your a girl,
And so am I.
People in a church say people like me can be fixed but I'm not broken, and if I am then I love you with every little shattered piece of me.
People in a church say I've sold my soul to the devil, but I would give up my soul just to steal a kiss from you.
People in a church say I will burn in hell for my sin, but that's okay because I've already seen heaven on Earth with you.
It's a summer day, sitting in a pool right next to you,
A coke bottle in hand that's shaped just like you,
It's everything that is nice with the world,
Just being with you.
We go inside and before I can stop you you've already put on one of my shirts getting it all wet,
And I try to be mad, but you look so perfect in it.
Then I open my eyes, and realize I've been asleep this whole time,
So I roll over and have five more minutes of dreaming.

So love, when you ask why I'm so tired, darling it's because I was up all night dreaming of you.
