I am a sinner saved by grace

Now held by love's embrace

I have bowed on bended knee

To be made new, bold and free

I speak with tongues of fire

But I have spoken the words of a liar

I walk with unseen angels surrounding

Yet I have fallen in the waves, drowning

To myself, daily I do die

And the wealth of the world I will gladly deny,

For what is it worth to build up dying treasure

When I have eternity to use at my pleasure?

So, of Jesus' cross I will boldly proclaim

That His loving sacrifice will receive all the fame

And what do I lose if I die as a martyr?

Was it not over my own Saviour's garments that they bartered?

I war in high places against principalities

Because the blood flowing within me is royalty

I fight with righteousness on my chest, the Word in my hand

And with a crown of life on my head, I do stand

With my mouth I bind that which is in hell and in heaven,

And one day I will battle by His side at Armageddon

As a righteous saint I will rise in linen,

For I am holy, washed and forgiven

For one day faith and hope will no longer be needed

When over death, we will have succeeded

So, what then will we be left with?

The greatest of these, love, will cease to be myth

For then Love itself will take dominion

Personified, in Christ, it will give us true freedom

And while He rises, sure as the sun

A new world, a new era will have begun

For now, to the world I will not conform

Standing fast no matter the storm

In spite of what they throw I will not succumb

Because through the blood I will overcome

So, because He is risen

Here on Earth,

I am the Kingdom
