What is there to gain?

 you're not worth the pain

you're an ocean away 

and yet you've managed to stay 

 you've been the worst by far 

 because i cant look at the stars 

without a break in my careful defenses 

but i need to come to my senses 

 you aren't coming along 

and i need to move on

you can have me 

but you clearly don't want to 

and i can't have you 

even though i clearly want to

so what is there gain? 

you've caused me to much pain 

and even though i love you 

you don't love me too
