Showing a fake smile,

Laughing off the pain,

Silencing my screams,

As I try and look sane.

I'm lying to you,

When I say "I'm fine,"

Because that's just life,

And my life is only mine.

No one understands,

My pain and suffering,

So I try to be there for others,

Trying to forget my own feelings.

I put on this act,

So other's don't worry,

What's great is that,

No one can see through me.

I don't mind living through life,

Alone and full of regret,

Because if I'm isolated,

Then I'm easier to forget.
