Contest 4 Winners
First off: I am so sorry for the delay guys! I totally forgot about posting the winners completely! Ugh, I feel terrible. There is no excuse for this mistake.
I have put up precautions so that this doesn't happen again. There are three alarms for it on my phone now (why didn't I think of this before?) so this shouldn't happen again! Sorry again lovelies.
Now, for the winners. But first let me say that I have never seen so many amazing entries as for this contest. You guys put your all into these entries there was no mediocre poem in the bunch! So of course picking a winner was very hard. But here they are (thank you for being to patient):

By 23s_Gal
She was a rainbow in a world of black and white.
She was as vibrant as the yellow sun. On a hot, cloudless day.
She was as feminine as the pink flower. Showing beauty in each and every way.
She was as kind as the gentle orange. Making people want to stay.
She was a rainbow in a world of black and white.
As her colours leaked out, people began to notice her. They noticed the vibrant yellow, the pretty pink, the soft orange.
As more and more people came into her life, the more people she began to touch. And the more people she brought colour to.
She brought a rainbow to a world of black and white.
The feeling this gave me was wonderful! I wish I could forget it and read it anew so that I could relive the chills! I want to know the person the poems talks about. Scratch that, I want to be her! I'm sure everyone else who reads this probably will too. Beautifully done!

Color of Everything
What is the color of everything?
Perhaps the seven-hued rainbow
when the sun appears altering raining
or the darkness of the ocean below
when a submarine travels down low
What is the color of a friendship?
Perhaps the ombre of dawn
when sleeping over, snacking on chips
or the blackness of a betrayed bond
when bickering behind backs so many wrongs
What is the color of determination?
Perhaps the crimson of a sweaty face
after running a marathon under the sun
or the scarlet of disbelief after the lost race
when a one second difference was such a close case
What is the color of two lovers?
Perhaps the salmon blush after the first meet
when inadvertently bumping into the other
or the smeared rose lipstick after the first cheat
when the hearts become broken and incomplete
What is the color of a family?
Perhaps the brown of mud tracks
when a toddler is running with glee
or the white of paper that didn't last
when it somehow ended up the shredder so fast
What is the color of nothing?
Perhaps the white of light
when it's quickly travelling
or maybe the color of an finished fight
when the bruises change colors so bright
What is the color of everything?
Perhaps the seven-hued rainbow
when the sun appears after raining
or the darkness of the ocean below
but colors, they don't define everything, you know
I am such a fan of your poems, and this one is no exception! The nostalgic warmth of it, the rhymes, the rhythm, the perfect mix of beautiful sentences and the pictures it paints. Keep writing poetry, because your amazing at it!

The Summer I Lost Color
This foundation is peace;
the warm and inviting aura of spring.
The day's opening and my thoughts craving some sort of form as I let my eyes capture each detail the light had brought.
My eyes recognize it as yellow.
This script is of sadness;
every drop of rain falling into the ground in the little town and every single damn time wondering when it would stop.
But we never did want it to stop, the rain always brought us clarity in the end;
and our wounds labeled it blue.
This lyric is among the heartbroken and shattered few. The days spent just reading the blank pages of epilogue, hoping to find something good.
The nights wandered aimlessly and recklessly, why not, we've got nothing left.
All I saw was red.
Red
Grey
White
Black
Black
The summer I went just a little too fast down a hill and hit my head, was the summer I lost color.
Only when I saw my loves eyes and could not see the blue in them did I cry. Oh I cried and cried
The green flecks that were scattered just as his thoughts were, I spent days trying to catch them again. Nights screaming for them and waking up with my mother running into my room crying because she didn't understand it.
The gold that wondered through me, opening doors and secret passages.
All I saw was grey
No longer were my flowers that pretty peach
White
I couldn't see what makeup I was putting on so I just gave it up.
Black
My piano keys hunted me sometimes. They still do.
Black
And then Autumn came, the world was dying and living all at once. It was beautiful.
I saw the leaves dance with one another as they cast brilliant shades in between oblivion and discovery
My discovery.
The summer I went just a little too fast down a hill and hit my head, was the summer I lost color.
I'll never let a day go by without taking in every single shade,
without saying hello before they all fade into grey
CHILLS. The story this told with your beautiful usage of words, descriptions of feelings and the hints to how things ended at the beginning made me fall in love with this poem. Gorgeous work!
